For this week's limited supply challenge...a little something...
Old: all paper and ribbon scraps
New: Bazzill In Stitchz Paper Piercing Templates
Borrowed: Mutnik's (Cathy's) idea of taking tiny elements out of patterned paper, then popping them up both on the patterned paper itself...and in other spots on the card!
Blue: embroidery floss from Bazzill
and the whooooo....that's my addition...Mr. Owl on his branch~!

You have a good eye for design elements. I like the multiple stamped graph image and the partially popped leaf paper and owl - all work for me, especially with tones chosen. I love the ribbon tie-offs - were you going for them to suggest branchings off, or was that subconscious? My eye keeps going over and over the card, so your design elements keep it there.

you know I've lovin' this, Kelly! and I don't much like homespun, but I love yours! Great texture, love that owl...I thought of you today when I was in Ben Franklins' with a 50% coupon...had that other bird set in my hand..remembering the cute chick cards you made....love those too, but in the end the Crafty Secrets Sweet Kids jumped in my cart! I do like how you placed the branch out of the frame and the owl off centered...Happy Laborless Day!
