This is for LSC183, A little something...
New - the dragonfly stamps set only arrived this morning in the post
Old - the lustre rub-on on the faux metal, the bling on the dragonfly's head and the silver wire.
Blue...'nuff said.
Borrowed - time I should have been spending knitting. OK, that doesn't really count. I am fairly sure that when I first saw the stamps in a magazine they used the kiss technique, I must have got the idea from somewhere because I've never tried it before. And if that doesn't count, it was this card WT181 Sleigh Bells by snowmanqueen at Splitcoaststampers by snowmanqueen that inspired me to try faux metal for the dragonfly tag. I have done it before, but I wouldn't have thought of it without commenting on this card this week.
I stamped Pretty Petals with Brilliance Moonlight White on vellum, and attached it with brads in the top corners to some blue Bazzill. The dragonfly was stamped with Brilliance Sky Blue for the body and Thyme Green for the kissing on the wings, and ColorBox Pigment Glacier Ice for the wings. I added a gem and wire antennae. The *dragonfly* was made using the faux metal technique, and rubbed with green and yellow Luster Rub-Ons afterwards. The ribbon came from a local haberdashery shop and is real dragonfly colours, metallic blue and green.
The stamped dragonfly is up on foam.

This is just beautiful -- so sweet and delicate. You nailed this challenge, girl!
I think of you just about every day, as my Dublin postcard I sent home is still on the fridge!
