This is my absolute most favorite card I have made in forever.....you know when you have a card in your head and it actually works out that way on paper??? This is one of my new favorite sets....Since this is my most favorite card I ever made....can you tell me what YOU think??
SINCE MANY HAVE ASKED HOW I MADE THIS CARD - THIS IS HOW.....I will send you all a link back to this card to read the directions.....
This is emboss resist. Color the back of your solid stamp with markers. I used pumpkin to shade the summer sun on the flower. Stamp on white card stock. Now draw inside the outline with your versamark pen, coloring as close to the edge as you can w/o going over it. Sprinkle clear embossing powder and heat to emboss. Now smear ink - first Baja Breeze, and then shade it with Not Quite Navy for background color. Now stamp grass on top using the fade technique, (stamping off once) and then wipe the flowers clean with a soft cloth or paper towel.....voila!! I embossed my words, and mounted them with dimensionals- ribbon you can see what I did......have fun!! The possibilities are endless with this - I have done emboss resist for YEARS but mostly with white embossing and Michelle Z showed me using the versarmarker for line art stamps so when I saw this set even tho it's solid, I thought why not?? I owned versamarkers but never really knew how to USE them......yes, they are for more then writing your name and embossing it....haha....have fun!!

Absolutely gorgeous! It looks like after you stamped the flowers, you went over them with the versamarker, then embossed with clear powder, then sponged the sky? Did I guess right? Thanks so much for sharing this. It's so beautiful I want to go there!
I LOVE this card!!!!!!!!!!! I just ordered this set and I can't wait to try and see if I can make one half as beautiful as yours. Any tips on making this card?? I would love to learn.

This turned out fantastic! I can see why you're so excited about it. I've been watching for someone to use emboss resist with this set (since I don't have it yet to try it myself), and I LOVE what you did. Thanks for the inspiration. Saving for reference. Linda
