Happy Thursday and welcome to another Ways to Use it Challenge! Carla, here as this week's hostess with Fix it With Duct Tape
My sweet, smart, talented husband can fix anything and it usually starts with a roll of duct tape. With Father's Day around the corner, I thought it would be fun to use duct tape on a card in honor of all those marvelous fix it guys! If you've seen all the different duct tape patterns, you know it doesn't have to be a masculine card.
When you've finished creating, upload your card with the keyword WT639 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
Here's a link to the WT639 Fix it With Duct Tape gallery. Be sure to leave some L:smile:VE for your fellow crafters.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Below are some marvelous samples from Sabrina, Lisa and Toni. Thank you ladies for the inspiration!
My duct tape choices are clear and white, but after I'd made the tin tiles using foil tape, DH came up trumps with some regular grey, so I used them both on my card.
Charging socket on the coach not working and I can't afford to run my battery down too much till I'm on the homeward leg, so I'll check out the gallery later.
Carla- great challenge, thanks! I just had a great trip to Seattle for a few days, visiting gardens and so enjoying all the greenery- thus the inspiration for my card. For the challenge, I used metallic duct tape, and some blue painter's tape, and a distressed Seattle skyline image from a sandwich wrapper. Here's Evergreen Seattle

Used metallic duct and blue painter's tapes for my WT and CAS challenge card- inspired by the Bothell Washington Locks and fish ladders. Here's Ocean Fish

What fun to use duct tape on a card. We have a fun stash of colors and patterns in the classroom, so I grabbed 2 different polka dot patterns - black and white, multicolored. I also got to play with my new stamps and dies from Botanical Blooms. Thank you for this fun challenge! Thank You
