WT602 - Hobbit Day (09/22/16)
Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!
It's Hobbit Day! Today is the birthday of both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. For those unfamiliar with these characters, they are hobbits from J. R. R. Tolkien books. Hobbits are described as a small race of people between two and four feet tall with curly brown hair on their head and feet. It's that description that inspires my challenge today.
Since the first time I read The Hobbit, I have never been able to un-imagine their feet. My challenge for you is to find a way to use feet or toes on your project.
I want to thank Sabrina, Cathy and Lisa for helping me out this week with some fabulous projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT602, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.
There are tons of wonderful Tolkien quotes to share, but I will leave you with just one that references feet.
Its a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you dont keep your feet, theres no telling where you might be swept off to. J.R.R. Tolkien
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

I found this image on the computer and fell in love with it - then found the building blocks and fussy cut those out and popped up.
Great challenge today!!

The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy are my favorite books of all that I've ever read, lost track of how many times I read them. Will most definitely find time to play today for them little "hobbitses" (Gollum). Great challenge, Toni!

WT602, SC611 tickles on toes
Toni- great challenge! I used SU's Cuddles and Tickles for my baby girl card, adding some turquoise with a horizontal band. Also worked for the sketch challenge this week! Here's tickles on toes

Thank you Toni, what a fun challenge! Just thought about it, this is intended for a birthday card eventually, it wasn't a conscious idea. //www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2752067?&cat=500&ppuser=370482

Toni, this is such a cute challenge and a unique way to honor the beloved Hobbits. I have 3 different ideas but no time to stamp as I'm still working. Hope I have some energy later to create but love what I'm seeing so far in today's gallery.

Ugly toes
So. This happened Tuesday... stubbed my toe while changing the sheets. Who knew clean bed linens could be hazardous to your health? I tried to figure out a way to make it into a card, but it's too gross.

Ow, Brenda! That looks incredibly painful. Get those feet up and iced and get some rest.

It doesn't hurt any more.
I wonder, do hobbits stub their toes? I know they change their bed sheets...
