It's Sabrina here as your hostess this week - and I hope you will join us in celebrating the 600th WTUI challenge!
I thought we would mark this by finding ways to use HEXAGONS on our cards, since they are six-sided.
You could go for a hexagon-shaped card, but think also of things like honeycombs, chicken wire, also some quilt blocks include hexagonal elements. Check out your snowflake stamps - some of them might feature a hexagon as part of their structure - although not the one I used on my card. I did get hexagons in with my stencil - but I couldn't find a 6-pointed snowflake stamp small enough to fit inside each hexagon.
In Northern Ireland we have the Giant's Causeway - a natural formation of basalt rocks and most of those are hexagons too.
Whatever way you go with your hexagons, upload your finished card with the keyword WT600, and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card .
Sabrina, that Hexagonal shoreline pic you posted is unbelievable and SO Unique - definitely an inspiration to work with hexagons! Here is my card - TFL
Sabrina, We have a hexagon feature in California too, the Devil's Postpile near Mammoth. I will try to find a picture. I didn't know there were others around like the shore in N.Ireland. WOW.

Happy 600 challenges!!! Very cool pictures Sabrina and Robin..thanks for sharing.
Here's my card...I used a hexagon stamp on one of my layers...didn't feel like doing a chicken card so I figured I could work it into the background.

Great photos, Sabrina and Robin! Thank you for sharing. Okay, I am hooked, and I have to do this challenge! Great cards so far! Oh, and Sabrina, I pinned your postcard into my scrapbooking board!
Sabrina- great challenge, thanks! Dusted off my hexagon punch, used it for my background for my "new to me" stamp from SU's Asian Art. Added some coloring, and a tie from my latest quilt in progress. Here's Bonsai Tree

Sabrina, what a spectacular photo!!! What a great inspiration! This is a fun challenge and will play along in the next day or two. I hope to visit Ireland some day, a dear family friend is actually leaving later this week for a vacation there. Don't know where exactly but she'll love it regardless.
Good challenge for the 600th WTUI, Sabrina. I love that picture you included of The Giant's Causeway - very unusual and interesting! Someday, I hope to visit Ireland. Here is my card for today:
Thanks Robin and Sabrina for sharing those photos. Makes me want to see those places in person, but photos are the next best thing. What a great challenge Sabrina. Thank you and all the hostesses and example makers for taking the time to make great challenges. Here is my card: WT600 Don't worry... by MariLynn - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Oregon's got plenty of volcanic structures, including hexagonal basalt columns. There's a favorite climbing haunt near here... I used photos of it when I hosted a hexie vsn challenge a while back. Can I find the photos now? Of course not...!!!
Anyway, here's my card. I used hexagons to make another waterfall card for a band geek great niece. Call it 6/8 time.
Yay! finally able to do something!! Thank you so much for the wonderful card I received in the mail today as well! You don't know how much that means to me right now. Here is my card.
I'm always amazed with natures beautiful phenomena. Sabrina, how cool to have geometric rock; it looks very similar to the rocky coastline of our U.S. state Maine. Here is My card
I'll be back to comment later.
