Lisa here as your hostess for this week's WTUI challenge.
Recently I have been going through my paper drawers trying to use up a bunch of scrap papers. It seems to have piled up over the years and I thought it was time I start pairing it down. One of the things I found fun to try was the Bargello technique and Herringbone technique. You can find them in our tutorial section under these links:
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have amazing cards this week from the very creative team.

Thank you, Lisa, for the introduction to the Bargello technique I keep wanting to say Bordello - which would be all together different) technique. I wound up making 2 cards because I forgot one important step in the technique. I forgot to stagger the strips so quickly made a second one. Here it is.
Lisa,
This was a fun challenge to help me get rid of scraps! Here's my card.

Thanks for the push to try the bargello technique, I've wanted to for a while but haven't prioritized it. It took me a while to get to it but here it is:
