Hello everyone and happy Veterans Day for those in the USA...Cathy here with this week's Ways to Use It Challenge.
Slimline cards are very popular these days, but I much prefer the Mini Slimline size. In my opinion...this size is just perfect for creating a good card design. Your challenge is to use the Mini Slimline size to create your card. The typical size of a Mini Slimline is 6" x 3 1/2" so cut your card base to 6" x 7" and score at 3 1/2" on the 7" side. Easy Peasy! Of course if you have any Mini Slimline dies...feel free to use those as well. I hope you have fun making your Mini Slimline card! Can't wait to see your creations in the gallery!
Check out the thumbnails below for some creative inspiration from our team...a big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina and Toni for your fun card samples!
Thank you, Cathy. I had stamped a couple of my long skinny PB stamps some months back, but hadn't even got this one coloured so your challenge was perfect.
It was a challenge for me.....not for creating, but thinking of the envelope to send it in. I really only use A2 envelopes....standard and no extra postage for size. Thanks for the challenge, Cathy.

Cathy this was fun making the slim line smaller! Think I will make several cards this size in the future.

Thanks for the challenge. I really like the slimline cards and they work really well for certain images. I like both horizontal and vertical ones so have one of each:
I have never done this size before although I had bought a couple of rectangle dies for it because, I intended to use them for sentiments and I managed to do it. I just have to figure out an envelope. I am thinking it will fit inside an A6 one though. thanks for this Cathy, here is one from me IC832 Love & Joy by JBgreendawn at Splitcoaststampers
I used to make a lot of mini slimline when I first started stamping, but everyone else was so tied to the A2 that I just started making those. I'm glad the mini slimline is getting it's time in the spotlight. Here's my card.
