I love copper and this challenge was perfect! DH just called from work and needed a thank-you card for tomorrow! TFL! Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I had nothing copper, except a piece of copper cardstock and some copper cord on an older card that was in my displays... so I dismantled it! It has new life now... although it's much nicer irl. ;)
Lindsey, thank you for filling in. You've been so sweet to comment on every card I've looked at from this challenge. Were you a cheerleader at one time? Anyway, you rock!
As soon as I pick up my kids from XC practice, I'm jumping right on this one. I need to flex my elegant card muscles and this challenge is just the thing to spur me on!
I'm so excited about this! I'm the one who suggested a coppertone challenge to Julia and I'm so glad it's made the list! Of course, it's a very selfish motive...I thought I HAD TO HAVE all the copper stuff and I find myself never using it and not being able to get inspired. I can't wait to see all the ideas generated from this challenge! TIA!!
Thanks Lindsey.......I plan to play, but may take me several days......just so dang busy. I have copper eb that I had to have and rarely use........thanks for the push. Nancy

Great challenge!!! This is my first time using copper! I think I like it!!
Thank you to nmslmomto3 for the great suggestion of using rust paper! I got to play!!
Ok, now I am embarrassed. I wish I would have looked at all of your cards before I posted. I can't believe the cards in this challenge tonight. Each one is more beautiful than the last. You guys are awesome. Did everybody here take lessons or are you just born with this skill?
wow! the cards are turning out wonderful! I won't have any reason not use copper again! now I'm off to the gallery so I can comment on every single one of them! then I'll *push* myself and make one too! I'm so glad so many people are playing!
I love when I can do a challenge the day it's posted! And how convenient that I found copper paint cans the other day; I knew they'd come in handy! Here's my Copper Blessings Paint Can. Thanks for looking and thanks for the challenge Jacksonbelle!

Here's mine and it bites. This is the 3rd card... the first two plus many pieces parts are in the trash! I just did not have the right colors of anything to pull off what I wanted. By the time I got to card #3, I was so frustrated I just stamped right onto the copper CS and let it go!
Here is mine I made for this challenge. Made it last night but couldn't get on the computer til this morning to upload it. TFL (pending approval)Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
