You mean I'm actually supposed to USE that pack of Pockets and Pieces? I thought I was supposed to simply file them and feel guilty everytime I come across them! Silly me!
I haven't got to play all week. I have 3 workshops this month (usually do 1) so I've been swamped getting it together! I have this one in my gallery, so I'll share it and try to play later:

I just had to sneak a peek at the challenge and I REALLY want to do it. I'm doubtful I'll have an opportunity tho. DD is coming with her two yungin's for a month or so, so sadly I don't think I'll have much time to play. However, I am going to take every opportunity I can get to peek at what everybody else is doing. I love all the pockets and pieces works of art so far. And I'm sorry I didn't have time to comment on them all. I'll see you around when I need a fix from my SCS withdrawal symptoms. Thank you all for adding so much pleasure to my life.

Here's mine! I just noticed in my pic that my ribbon was coming undone..... gotta fix it! Back to work on another withthe actual Pockets and Pieces!! Thanks for looking!
I have seen so many cute ideas with P&P -- so I bought them last week... I wanted to make a card to show them off to any potential customers--- so this is what i came up with for a customer that bought the Best of Cluck stamp set:

No P&P here either. I used MamaK's (and the other poster on her thread who scored differently) instructions too.
I also had to be creative because my crazy square punch was a gift and has another punch beside it, so I couldn't use it for this. (Explaining my choice to "shabby up" the edge of the square) Anyway, here is mine:
The pocket is actually the same lavendar that is on the left hand side of the card. My scanner doesn't pick up the soft subtle colors very well. And the tag and squares are an apricot color not yellow.
I won't have time to play for at least a couple of days because I have a technique class at my house tomorrow night, but I can't wait to have some time to see what everyone comes up with. I agree that someone should beg JulieHRR to play! I have no idea what to do with a lot of the pieces in there!
I can't believe how long this took me. It shouldn't have, ugh! I made a card size file folder & did cracked glass on the front. From now on, I will stick to smaller pieces for cracked glass. I had trouble with it chipping right off. Here is: friends on file.

Ok here is my first one for today. Funny how like gets in the way, when you want to stamp. I have Pockets and pieces but not the correct color. So I traced the one I have onto my tempting turquoise. what do you think

My second attempt. I made this as a congraulations card for my DH's brother and wife expecting twins. I used primary colors instead of pastel. Let me know what you think.
I don't have Pockets & Pieces, but I do have some stamp templates that make pockets. I went a little pocket crazy. Made a sideways slot pocket for a tag from SU Word punch, made a vellum pocket and a tiny pocket from a couple of stamps. Each pocket has a "Thanks" tag inside. I had a lot of fun with this one. Thanks oh queen of the Ways To Use It challenge.

I promise..... no more for this challenge! I loved using my Pockets and pieces!! Thanks Julia for making me use it!! This is for my dear Hubby's birthday! Thanks for looking!
I just noticed that this card, which I had posted earlier dissappeared so I renamed and reposted. I don't remember if I posted it here before but here it is now! Thanks!
I don't have pockets and pieces but wanted to play along so I made a faux pocket. I hope this fits the challenge. Tell me what you think. Here it is (pending approval): Paint Prints Pocket
Here is mine: I did not have P/P either so I traced a mini folder that I did have in the color I needed...these challenges are finally getting me to use things I have been hoarding for some time now...my craft room and my dh thank all of you for inspiring me (that is until I find something I have to have instead of using what I do have!!!)
Thanks for looking...
I did this card a while ago - using the file folder from pockets and pieces! Love this challenge - can't wait to see what everyone does with their P&P!
I finally tried Kimberly's peekaboo pocket! It's so cute! I remember it when she first uploaded it, but forgot it over time. Thanks for reminding me with this challenge!
