Linda here with challenge WT476 . We are going to celebrate Arbor Day. Let's put some trees on our cards. They can be stamped, digis, diecuts, branches, trunks of trees. It's been so cold this spring that our trees are just starting to form their tiny buds.

WT476 April Woods
Here's mine - just moved it out of the staging gallery and added a link to the challenge so it might not show for a few minutes.
And I got a lovely new ef with trees yesterday, and have a thank-you card to make so I hope I'll be back along with something else .
Ok, the 11 0'clock news said to expect snow this weekend finally in Central California, so I had to make a couple of Christmas type cards using trees for the occasion. Here they are:
A perfect challenge idea for this wonderful arbor day...TY...Where I live the magnolias are starting to bloom and a couple earlier ornamental crabapples and plums...so I am also excited for all the orchards to bloom soon,,so I am giving them a kick start with a pretty tree for a wee one to swing by...here is my Spring Blossoms

Happy Arbor Day to everyone -- if it happens to be Arbor Day in your state. In Florida, Arbor Day is in January, not April. My city is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday, so I guess that's close enough. They're giving away young trees to anyone who wants one. Anyway, here's my card for the challenge:
Linda- great challenge! We have some flowers here- daffodils and tulips- but it's still not sunny spring weather on a regular basis! I used my Great Impressions stamp for my flowers, butterflies and fence post- against a light green background. Here's Spring Flowers

I could have gone a number of different directions with this challenge, but I've had the idea of capturing the pinkish-purple light of predawn through deciduous trees in my head for weeks. I made two, using two different methods to create my sky:
For today's tree challenge, I used a cute leafy image with 2 cherries from my stamping buddy Diane- and added an embossed flower/gem border. Finished with a red bow and pink washi vertical and horizontal borders. Here's Cherry Thanks

Linda, what a great idea, to honor Arbor Day! Your challenge gave me a chance to break out a stamp and a sentiment that I've never used. I really enjoyed making this card!
