It's time for another WT challenge! Today we're doing a repeat challenge from wayyyyyyyyyyy back...scissors. Often I find myself using scissors for simply cutting ribbon and wanted to challenge myself, and you of course ;), to use them for other ideas! So pull out those scissors...I know you all have them...and start snipping! Whether you make a fringe or grass, cut out your image, try some paper piecing or some stellar cutting techniques...try to try out something you don't usually do!
Please put WT163 in your keywords section and post a link back here. You know the drill. New designs only please! Also...if you have some great WT challenge ideas that we haven't already done...I'd LOVE to hear them!
Sounds like fun, Julia. Hope I'll have a chance to play later today or this evening. It will be great seeing what everyone creates!

I'll be all over this one when I get home tonight. I actually cut out an image for my sketch challenge card yesterday, and I love to paper-piece. Thanks for an easy one, Julia!
I used my scissors to cut the sides of my grosgrain ribbon and fray it. I had seen this done a few times in the gallery. but had never tried it myself up until now:
Yay - finally I've completed a challenge card for this week!!!!! I love paper piecing, so decided to go with a trusted favourite and something I've really been getting into lately, but haven't done much of before!!!
Wasn't sure if i was going to be able particapate today or not as I am pretty busy getting ready for a workshop. But lo and behold the challenge fits right in with what I had in mind to do for the hostess gift.
Here is my card for today's snip challenge. I right away thought of my deckle scissors which has taken a back seat because of my new found love for punches!! Any way thanks for the challenge, it got me to bring them out again. Here is my card--I also combined it with yesterdays sketch challenge.
I use my scissors all the time. Next to my paper piercer it is my most used tool. That made it hard to do something that I don't do. I haven't done a fringe, so that is why I made grass. Let me know what you think of my card...
Hi! Well, Julia, this was fun...I almost poked a hole in my hand with my scissors, though! LOL! I have had such a hectic morning, and Markie had to go to the doctor for a medical review for his meds...What are doctors thinking? Why make a perfectly healthy child go to see them every 3 months, and make them WAIT for an hour in the waiting room with 30+ REALLY sick children??? I mean, I think I caught eight different illnesses, and I coated us with Purel, wore masks, and Lysoled the seats and sat in the CORNER away from all those germ-infested little bundles of joy...I'm kidding...I didn't Lysol all the seats..just the ones nearest us...LOL!
Whooo Hooo! I did three challenges in a row! I am so proud of my self. I am still on the Earth day kick so I am recycling for this project. Hope you like it.
