I got my card finished. Like I said earlier - it was a perfect challenge for me since I needed a thank you card for my son's soccer coach ... and their uniforms are yo yo yellow!!

It's so hard to get inspired when the color I'm working with is so very much disliked. This was indeed a true challenge. I sat at work for almost twelve hours today thinking about what I wanted to make. I have C.C. Designs Bitzy Bugz with the umbrella and was going to make that; but I got home and found one already in the gallery. :( So I look around and didn't see anything with Classic Pickups so I made a pretty nice card with that set. Come back a hour or so ago, and there is the same classic truck I just made. Double :(
So I turned to my TAC stamps and this is what I came up with. I hope no one else made one with this set, because at this point I refuse to check the gallery. I hate yellow and I've just made two cards with it. LOL I'm not very happy with the result .... but I am happy that I didn't give up.

Yo Yo Yellow is not one of my favorites - in fact I've had the cardstock for a couple of years and never used it!!!

i don't have any yyy paper, so i used my marker. there's not a lot of the yellow in this card, so i'll do another later to really meet the challenge. tfl!
