Oh this is so sad.... I will be able to play this Ways To Use It for days. I went on a major shopping spree with income tax return money. I have one card done with CTMH stamps that came today. I'll load soon. I have 4 new CTMH stamp sets to play with (I was so bad!) and some new bellas too.
used one of the images from greetings galore for the first time, and i've had it over a year! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
colors were inspired by a really cute dress i saw at Old Navy (oh, if i were only 10 yrs younger and 20 lbs thinner!!) thanks, Julia and TFL!
I just love this stamp set, but have never used it b/c after I bought it, but before I made my Christmas cards that year, I figured out just what a pain it is to make 50+ cards with an image that must be colored in.
I was very happy to finally make something with these stamps, so I made two. One has a few problems, but the idea behind it was good, and the other, at least I think, turned out pretty well. Here they are:
Thank you so much for an awesome challenge! This was so much fun
I pulled out a Bella that I got in the mail last week, but I haven't had a second to play till now! This gave me the perfect excuse, and it was a nice stress buster at the end of a rotten day (in fact, a rotten WEEK!)
I really needed this today! So, thanks for letting me just play!
Well, I finally got mine done. This one got done in fits and starts. I chose my new daffodil stamp in honour of the daffodils poking up in our front garden. Spring is coming here, despite a temporary snowy setback this weekend.
I haven't read the whole thread so not sure if this has been mentioned, but our lovely hostess Julia's birthday is this weekend! If you need her address to mail a card please go to the Fan Club Forum and look in the thread titled SMAK the DD. :-D
