Not too original this morning....and, should I have just left the Prima off? I didn't want to stamp and cut more flowers, and I didn't want the Prima to over-power the doodles.....I am thinking I should have left it off.
well.....the fabric part was the hard part....the other elements I am very happy with..........always love to do cards with the Nubble Light image.....
I have not been able to access the gallery for WT103. Does anyone have a link that works? Is it my computer? Thanks! Can't wait to see everyone's cards today!
Hugggs!
I thought I cut fabric much straighter than it turns out I actually do!!!
I have tons of fabric, but this was the closest to my desk! Call me the lazy stamper. One day I made 15 thank you notes and the only requirement was that they were all different and that I didn't have to get up off my chair for anything!
Julia, your so sweet, as if you can read all of our minds according to your post. Put's a smile on my face. I am so jealous at the work you create with your sewing machine. I don't have that talent (or a machine, lol). But thank you for your other ideas. So appreciate your time. Hope to do this sometime today.

I can't get there either.......must be wonkiness once again......
One more! I couldn't get this out of my mind since this morning...looking at my son's third pair of ripped jeans in a month (ugh!!--he's four!). Anyway, I put one pair that he was growing out of anyway to good use in my card--

Beate reminded me today that entries may not be posted on the web, so I would definately NOT post your pictures today....Good Luck!
Do you mean can't be posted at all?
I called and asked DS about that b/c someone else told me that I could never post them b/c it would be considered published. DS said that they ENCOURAGE you to post them on your demo business website, and that it is fine to post them on SCS. I have just been waiting until the contest submission period is over before posting them.
I sew on Thursday mornings Julia so this was a perfect challenge for me to do when I got home. I loved playing with my fabric in this way. Thanks for an awesome challenge.
Oh, Julia, if this isn't a challenge I would so LOVE to do -- but I don't know if I'll find the time -- I am having computer problems galore -- must deal with that issue first -- I actually have a fabric project in the back of my head that I've been trying to get to -- hoping to play, eventually, but I'll surely be checking to see what everyone else does -- GREAT CHALLENGE!!!!
I love having a day off and being able to play in the morning.
This challenge forced me to go into my sewing room, which pleased one of my cats very much. He loves that room so much more than the room where I stamp. I left him napping there, and I will kick him out when I put stuff away. Anyway, I digress.
I am so excited by this Challenge.. .my friend Julie helped inspire us all over at Craft Critique to launch a similar Fabric Challenge for next week (we are doing fabric projects inspired by paper and/or paper projects inspired by fabrics/fibers and sewing)! We are doing a blog carnival on this topic too! So talk about great timing! If you played in this terrific challenge and you blog; be sure to play in the carnival this week... Meanwhile; thank you ALL for the amazing inspiration! I love using fabric on my paper projects! Whoo Hoo! GREAT challenge Julia!!! I am totally gonna play!
well, there is just no more material left in this house! it's all at Amber's! but I did find some edging...... the gallery is sure wonky!! ugh!

I don't live too far away from an Offray Ribbon outlet and picked up a roll of twill a couple of weeks ago. I love it! Thank you for posting the challenge. Here is my card!
I just remembered I did this faux quilt card a while back for my blog but never posted it here. It doesn't have any actual fabric...but it looks like it might! Close enough?? I'll do another once I get my hands on some fabric...I have a friend over here who is into quilting, so I"m sure I can scrounge some scraps from her!
Well now I know SCS is a mess today and Dawn is working hard to get all these cards into a gallery (Thanks Dawn!). Here's my fabric card. This was fun! Hope you like it!
