WCW073 {Fast Fall Tree} October 20, 2021
Hi,
& Welcome to this week's Wednesday WaterColor Challenge.
This week we are taking a look at a tutorial on youtube that is for Painting a tree that is about to lose it's leaves. One thing I did do differently than the video, is I did not have much luck with the wadded paper on my practice tree so, I ripped the end off a cheap foam brush on the sponge end and made dauber a tool. The top practice tree was done with wadded paper and the bottom tree was done with the jagged ripped sponge tip.

This week's challenge keyword is
WCW073
You can find
the gallery for that here .

The advice about making the tree trunk and branches as light and dark colors was really awesome advice in the 5 minute video. Great challenge!

I loved this challenge and wanted to try it ever since it was posted, but did not have time. I'm so glad Lydia's challenge for Falliday was to pick a WCW tutorial and do it!
