This VSBN, we�re revisiting past challenges, so here�s one you may have missed the first time around:MFTSCRAP1 Challenge . This was MFT's first Scrapbooking challenge on SCS. As I am sure you already know, sketches are a fabulous way to get your creative juices flowing. Simply follow the sketch to create your own gorgeous layout.
I've attached the sketch and my original sample to the bottom of this post. I will be playing along with all of you and I will create another page based on the sketch.
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Sunday, February 17, 2013.
2. You have a total of 2 working hours to complete the challenge. Time spent is cumulative; just keep your total time per challenge under the 2 hour limit. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted this challenge in your Upload Description.

Yay! Welcome to SCS Scrappin' and VSBN. It seems to be a little quiet here this weekend but hopefully we'll have lots of scrap friends that get to play along later this week!
I however am enjoying the view of the chilly outdoors from my Scrap/Stamp/Office and am off to find some picts to use with this sketch!
I love to start with sketches!

Everyone must be very busy working on those pages...
or shoveling.....we got the precursor to the storm that went out east on Thursday... we've had snow every day this week (after NONE all last year). My husband had to go shovel off the roof. He said there were knee deep drifts up there. I should take a pic of the fancy method we use to thaw ice in our gutters.... pantyhose or knee high legs filled with salt then draped over the gutters... there are little panty hose dangling from my roof edge I'm sure the neighbors think we are nuts... but if you don't get them cleared you get ice dams and messed up roofs!

It is quiet Lela..I am enjoying the scrapping, the music and, the snacking from my scrapping room also!
I've been very much looking forward to this .... coffee, music and scrapping!
I do have to run out for a few errands unfortunately ... my kids are coming home for a visit and DH and I realized we have NOTHING they'll eat now, LOL! We're both trying to eat healthier so ... no snacks or junk here now :eek:

I'll bet some folks don't have power, what with the storms.
It does seem like the system is "finicky" this morning ... I just thought it was me. Well, I'm looking for some snowflake embellishments and then this page (which I ended up doing 2 pg layout) will be done ...
I didn't think about "power" issues ... I figured they would be snowed in and scrappin? LOL!

Okay, I am still having computer problems. Every time I close my laptop and then come back to it, the screen won't come on, no matter what I do. So, I have to shut it down and start over. I hope it is not a virus.
So am going to try to upload a page I just did. I flipped the sketch, and in doing so got something a strip going wrong way. But it is my interpretation of the sketch!
Will be back if uploading works.

yes I bet some are shoveling...hopefully all our scrappers on the east coast are ok! We had 6 in. on Thursday and a couple on Friday and now it is melting...crazy weather.

Great sketch....I really like this. I've never seen these before on SCS. Are they in a different area? I don't do too much browsing except for the scrapbooking area though.
Hopefully I'll get to play in a little bit after we come back from the grocery store to get fruit and lunch items for next week.
Just completed my page. I think I came in under two hours, but I was scrapping with someone else who needed lots of help, so I lost track of how much time I spent doing my layout and how much time I spent doing hers! Oh well, I had fun and got to finish another page for my son's baby book, so I'm happy!

It is similar to mine...we must be on the same wave length...LOL! I see on another post you said you're into blue...I've done alot in blue this week too.
I can't figure out what I did or didn't do, but my page isn't showing in the challenge gallery and I have the correct keywords which if I click on the keyword on my page it takes me to that challenge gallery, but my page isn't there :confused:
