Ok ladies�I might be a little biased but my heart belongs to the hot referees on the field. I guess I should probably tell you that my husband is a football referee (hence why I�m home alone for the next two months to do these Friday Night Scraps). But honestly have you seen NFL Referee Ed Hochuli?? As he makes those calls�he�s definitely got some guns! And believe it or not, I�ve had the pleasure of making dinner for him!
So I digressed there for a moment! Tonight�s challenge allows us to pay tribute to the referee. You may be as creative as you want but here are some ideas�
1) Black and White or Black and White Stripes
2) Actual referee/official in the picture (bonus points for that)
3) Refereeing a kid�s argument
4) Clocks
5) Whistles
6) Penalty Flags
7) White hats
Penalties
9) Coin Toss
The more creative the better�good luck!! Tessa (Shastess) and I have decided that you will have until Thursday of the following week to finish the challenge. Winners will be announced at the next Friday Night Scraps. Just make sure to use the keyword VSBNFNS01 for this challenge.

Hey there I made a chat thread for this challenge. Diana...Ed Hochuli is amazing. His son referees with my husband and I hosted an end of the season party for the referees. Ed came and let me just say...omg!! And he's super nice also. He sent me a typed thank you letter on NFL letterhead thanking me for dinner!! A true gentleman!

no way... that is so kewl. did you scrap the letter yet??? or did you hang it on your wall??
i remember when my oldest was playing Pop Warner and they needed volunteers on the sideline. dh didn't want to do it so i did. I had to work the line marker. no clue of what i was doing...
Diana...I think I got rid of them...not really sure where they went...new at this mod stuff..

Thanks! Like I said, I'm just new to Friday Night Football (my youngest DS plays in the band this year) but I'm being a "fair weather fan" tonight ... it's raining and I didn't feel like sitting in the rain!

Aaah can't find my black 12 x 12! I'm going with a print that has off white in it since the picture I copied had aged to where it was black and antique white! Will that be okay to participate?!!

Fun side story....
At my DS's Youth Football games I was one of those very loud Moms... I was always yelling at him about what to do and where to run. THe 2nd year he played the coach asked me if I would like to help REFEREE. I was so excited to be able to be right down on the line with the boys, I couldn't contain myself. At the first game I was there early, anxious to get all my instructions... THen came the last instruction... "Now Anavon", He says, "You can't yell, scream or say anything...promise!" "WHAT!!!!! okay..." I said. Later that evening my Dh was standing around talking to the team and the coaches... Smiling... He said, "That is the quietest I have ever seen my wife"... The coach laughed and said... "I had to do something to get her to shut-up so the boys would listen to me"... I refereed for the next five years and three sons later....We are still best friends to this day.

Totally fine!! The idea is to follow the challenge as closely as possible but ultimately to scrap!!

Boy, this challenge is really making me think. i kinda want do something w black and white as the accent?
