cloning is a tool you can use on many photo editing software pkgs. I'm SURE it's on pse. You drag a tool over the area you want to clone, and then you click over the area you want to cover with that exact pattern. You can change the size of the area and clone bigger or smaller portions of the pattern. I've rid myself of everything from unwanted people, to ugly furniture, to clutter to, well, putting some shirt over a wee willy (potty-training picture :rolleyes: there's only SO FAR a scrappin' mom is willing to go!!!).

Project Christine was a VSBN challenge "N". It is to do a LO w/o pics and send it to the family of Christine. She died recently and left young children and loads of pics. Some of her friends are going to scrap them for the family. So we were challenged to send them LO's. Great challenge.

I just figured out how to use the clone tool since my DH has been deployed. I have PSE 6. The clone tool is (surprisingly) the tool that looks like a stamp! Open up a picture and try it out and see how it works (make sure not to save over your orig. picture though). Its cool!

Was Christine someone that you ladies knew personally? If so I am very sorry if I was inappropriate in asking what this was about. Please let me know if it is ok for me to send a LO or if this is a more personal thing.

ok ladies recorded damages is over and it is cold in here-I suppose I could turn on the heat-but ch-ching--so I will just go crawl under the blankies--so you all tomorrow-going to have try that clonin' thing! Maybe the cloning fairy came to the house AND that is why I have 7 dachshunds:confused:

My friend Christy went to the site and asked them to e:mail her pics (because she likes to get the colors spot on). They will e:mail you pictures for your own LO if you want! I did not know this woman, but her DH is also in the service, so I feel the need to do something for her family.

She was a big fan of SCS and like all of us we all crossed paths every now and then. The link I posted is more info / blogspot and Lela has the Address to where you send the LO's.

Great, Tessa! Isn't it an amazing tool? Now the first time you try to edit a picture, don't get frustrated if you have to start over a few times b/c it takes awhile to get it just right.

I think she's got two in the works and then there are small short stories. You wont see her without her notebook and a pen.
Because it interests her so, I let her use some english/grammar school time. I'm telling ya that she sets her alarm so she can get up and type with quiet. spooky huh?

I went to a crop in the fall where we all did pages for the family of a lady I'd never met. It was a fantastic experience. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to contribute, and I'm so grateful that you gave us this chance, Lela.
