What can be said about the advancement of technology that this timeline, highlighting many (not even close to all) significant accomplishments of our ancestors over a mere 100 years, doesn't prove? For better or worse, it is undeniably impressive.

To think that a mere 100 years ago most people had never even ridden in a car is mind boggling, considering at this point in time we are all sitting in different areas of the world, having on online crafting challenge together on our personal computers. Anyway, I really want to use this class to capture a piece of the 20th century for our future generations
Bachelors Degree
To complete your Bachelors Degree you will need to do a page or layout that reflects something or someone from your family history that was born during this time period. It's good to look back and remember
Masters Degree
To complete your Masters Degree you will need to do a page or layout using something developed during the 20th Century. Perhaps your pictures include a microwave, Walkman, Golden Gate Bridge, something from the internet, Mickey Mouse, World Series picts, Ford? It can be something not listed on the above list, just be sure to detail in your upload description
Doctorate Degree
To complete your Doctorate Degree you will need to complete a page or layout that depicts how one of these events impacted your life. Perhaps you are a writer so the ballpoint pen or computer is what you use for your job. Do you have pictures of your children (or you) enjoying Sesame Street? Perhaps your children or grandchildren love McDonalds? Feel free to use another event during this time period not listed but be sure to share the year and the event in your write up.
1. To be considered for VSBN Degree Program, you will need to complete the "classes" by the following dates:
Bachelors Degree -- All Classes must be completed by November 30, 2013
Masters Degree -- All Classes must be completed by December 14, 2013
Doctorate Degree -- All Classes must be completed by December 28, 2013

I tried to scrap how technology affected our holidays. I documented about our van (we've named it Golden Ted), and more specifically our CD player and GPS. Without these, our holidays would be very different! And without this challenge, I don't know that I would have documented the impact of technology on our vacation!
