Position Try Out: BLITZ Definition: a defensive strategy in which a linebacker or defensive back vacates his normal responsibilities in order to pressure the quarterback. The object of a blitz is to tackle the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage or force the quarterback to hurry his pass.
SCRAPBOOK BLITZ: 1) �Vacate your normal� way of doing a layout ~ if you like bling then no bling; if you like simple try chabby chic; if you�re a paper scraper, try hybrid. This is the time to work outside of your comfort zone�feel the pressure but make it fun!
2) �Force the quarterback to hurry his (her) pass� ~ a NFL quarter is an official 15 minutes! To start your page these are the time rules (set your timer!):
a. 5 minutes to research pages that are not your style and plan your �play�. b. 2 minutes to select your pictures. c. 5 minutes to gather supplies. d. 3 minutes to create a title (this includes cutting time) __________________________________________________ __ Okay, this explains my layout: I don�t often do one/two picture layouts; I don�t often do a layout on solid cardstock for the primary background, and I don�t use stickers though I own many from the past. I took the layout from Lela�s September Challenge: Lela's Layout
Well Gal Pals...time for me to call it quits. I have to get up at 6:15 to wake the kids at 6:30 so we can get to dd#2's game at 8:30 (her check-in is by 7:30).

Let's see, I think I am now ready to try this challenge. I have come to the conclusion that I can't scrap and chat as well as I thought I could...:oops: I feel like I missed so much of the good chatting this evening!
Great challenge, Mary Pat! doing a page in 15 minutes will definitely be a challenge for me!! LOL! I better wait until I get some sleep to try this one!

I'm trying to decide what I want to do here.... that's out of the norm...hmmm? That's one challenge that will need some thought. Maybe I'll look thru some mags and try an idea I see

oh yeah....I gotta complete the page in 15 minutes....now that will TRULY be a departure from norm for me! I definitely have to do this one Sunday.....

no really you have two hours to complete the whole thing just in football a blitz is very fast at first thus the quick start to your page!
Alright, here's my first ever digi page: Nana Azalia
I found some templates online, so it was really easy. Even with searching for templates, it took me less than two hours to finish everything. If my job didn't require me to spend so much time in front of the computer, I definitely think I'd be much more into digi or hybrid.
Ok, MP I grabbed the first picts on the pile, moved them around some, found a background paper and put the page together....VERY out of the norm for me, LOL! Thanks for the FUN challenge!
I did this at my crop on the weekend - it was funny trying to explain to regular scrappers just WHAT an online challenge game like VSBN is... anyway. WAY outside my normal type of page, very quick and easy and I had no trouble meeting the times!
