If you are like my family we sing songs, whether they are made up or ones off the radio, there are certain songs that we always sing. Some of them are in conjunction with the age and development of our kids. We don't sing the songs because of tradition, but they become tradition because we sing them so much. So here is the challenge. I want you to design a page around a song that your family sings. The lyrics to the song MUST be on the page somewhere. Try to have pictures that "show" the song in action. For example if every time you go to the zoo you sing "Lions and tigers and bears, OH MY" then your page would be about the lions, tigers and bears at the zoo and how you always sing that as you cross the bridge into the zoo. Somewhere on your page I want to see a little blurb about the song and the corresponding tradition. And this is more for you than for me, because in 15 years when you are on to other songs and games, this scrapbook page will serve as a reminder of this once fun tradition. My sample page is about a song that we sing to the kids in the car when we are going to their grandparent's house (babcia and dzia dzia). We sing it faster and louder if they are crying! IT is a fun one. It is sung to the tune of the children's bible song about Noah and his ark.
Super challenge. I was a vocal music major and elementary music teacher before my kids were born, and they both came out of the womb singing! This will be great fun!

fun challenge! My DD sings Elvis songs in the car thanks to her Dad! I have a great pic and idea for a apage, I'll try it tomorrow am though, I am exhausted from fighting with the site and my camera!

Caroline...I hate to desert you, but I am not used to this time change thing and I stayed up WAY too late last night...so I can barely keep my eyes open anymore. Thanks so much for the great challenge...I am definitely going to work on it tomorrow.

I know, I wish I had wireless. I would be laying on the couch doing this. It was such a long weekend for me. And last night I hurt my ankle and knee and so I am worn out from limping all day!

Well I was popping in to see what you cooked up, I like it. Will have to think about what pics I have. The song we sing a lot isn't well known, and I'm not sure how to scrap it, but I will give it some thought while I take a break with DH! See you after a while!!! :-D

Yeah, it kinda stinks, usually for VSBN i sit and scrap on the floor of the computer room and RUN up and down the stairs to get stuff. Today, DH has been helping me out a lot and running for me. he is beat there is no way he'll do my scrapping running.

All of my creative juices are dried up for now. Well, actually I take that back, I could start something tonight yet, but I would be up for another 3 hours and I have to be up for work in about 7 hours. I think I'll just hang out to chat while the moz sticks finish baking.

yeah, I've done the last challenge a few times before and there are usually people around. Tonight I think everyone is beat. I'm trying to scrap while I sit here, but it isn't going well.
