Inspiration Challenge: Project Runway Challenge

KEYWORD: MAR08VSBNI

On the hit reality Bravo show, Project Runway, designers often only have minutes to dash through a shop filled with wonderful fabrics, buttons, and other notions and turn them into an original and beautiful garment. They are sometimes inspired by an amazing swatch of fabric that they find in the shop.

This is an Inspiration Challenge! Use the following image of fabric swatches as your inspiration for an original layout:

Perhaps you will be inspired by the colors, designs, or interplays of the fabric.

The goals of this challenge are to:
(1) Use the fabric swatch image as inspiration in your original layout. Use the colors black/white/red or black/white/cream.
(2) Create a layout using as many sewing related products as possible: fabric swatch, ribbons, buttons, pins, beads, thread, etc.

Bonus points if you use a fabric swatch and at least three other sewing related items in your layout.

Make it work, designers!

Okay, the link I just posted is working. However, the swatch is coming up small. I'm so sorry, everyone. The original link that I had saved worked well and looked bigger. I even checked it this morning. Today has been a rotten day all around, it seems, and now my inspiration photo is very smallish. Sorry!:(

I've been saving a layout I was planning to do with red, white, and balck papers

This will be a good challenge for those pictures and papers.

I'm off to find a book, my jammies, and bed. DH is riding tomorrow so I'll have all day to scrap. He even did all the laundry today while I was at work so I don't have to do any tomorrow

I love those colors for layout pages...actually now that I remember those three colors were our junior high school colors and every uniform really rocked out!

yes.. but way too worn out tonight. I will do it monday probably... since tomorrow is churhc and we gotta take babe halfway back to meet his parents and since that is at Petit Jean State Park DH and I are planning on hanging out there for a bit

I went back to look at the sample page and saw ribbon..than thought...hmmm I could even use my swatch for lots of ribbon too, right?
