Our first challenge is a good one based on a page by our own Lanita (Divanurse). She did a great page...."What I would tell this girl". So tonight we're going to start with a Challenge to use a picture of yourself and then journal about what you would tell yourself NOW about the moment the picture is depicting. For instance you might use a picture when you were young...maybe getting married....pregnant....what would you tell that "girl" now....

BTW--I love flowers and I have to say I cant grow a flower here to save my soul-so Michaels had their spring/summer silk flowers on sale for 90% off-can you believe it--I spent 15.00 and I have 3 large bags of silk flowers, the clerk said it was just unbelievable when she totalled up my order--I AM HAVIN SOME FLowers NOW! I planting them in the ground outside--every last one of them!

great challenge and I know the perfect picture...the problem is I don't have it and neither does my mom. It is my 7th grade picture. I looked exactly like Little Orphan Annie and was teased by all. Any ideas about what I could do?
How funny Misti!!! Lela-I still have 14 pages to go, thank goodness I have another week to get them done!!
I'm leaving again Monday so I have 2 days at home and then I'll have to "scrap on the road" which on this trip, won't happen until August. Next week is busy....hopefully I can get some done tonight and tomorrow....

I really dont know how you even get time to breath!! Traveling just for fun tires me out
There are some nights I fall asleep with all the lights still on in the hotel room! I always think..."oohhh, I'll just lay down for a minute..." laugh! Definitely travel is "wearing".....either kind - fun or business! :cool:

Hey, CONGRATULATIONS Misti! It's great that you're excited for her - sometimes it's hard for people in 'her position' to find people who are truly grateful and joyous for her and not just see the obstacles. Good for you, and good for her!

I've been working on my 52 wk journal as I am starting to think that I might just wait till my mom gets back in town and beg for you to find all of our old family pics so I can find the picture I really wanted for this one.
Hi everyone! I'm here for a while, but probably won't be here long. Just checking in. I told myself that I have to have 10 ebay listing done before I can play! I'm so-o-o-o-o bossy to me sometimes! Well, I have 6 and am hoping to get the rest done quickly, but my puter is acting up and slowing me down! We'll see. Maybe I'll rebel and not listen to me!:rolleyes:

I just talked to her a few minutes ago. She sounded much better today than yesterday. It's just as easy to be supportive than not to be in my opinion.
Besides, if I weren't supportive...It would mean 'I HAVE BECOME MY MOTHER'
My mom was never happy when I would call home with the happy news and I swore to myself that I just wasn't going to do that.
Of course to hear my mom now...you would think it was all her idea:rolleyes:

Birthday Party? How FUN!
I think I've had a "month of CRAZY" Kirsten....I feel like I'm going to "miss" Summer, however, I have done some FUN stuff. The Mackinaw Island/Bridge trip was definitely a good time!
