The warden threw a party in the county jail.
The prison band was there and they began to wail.
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing.
You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing.
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock.
Rockin to me means Elvis! And my most vivid image from the Elvis era-although I must have seen a re-run because I wasn�t born yet- is the jailhouse rock scene when Elvis and his cronies sing in and out of their cells. I have provided you with the best picture I could find and a link to u-tube in case you want to taste a little nostalgia!
So with all of that in mind-your challenge is to create a page that reflects the clustering of the jail cells in the background with at least 3 photos and use lots of elements to represent all of the �singing Jailbirds� I think some clustering of elements might just earn you some bonus points!!

We managed to get our hands on more free show tickets so we were out at a Comedy show last night and although it was early by most peoples standards -we were home by 9-that was late for us! So my usual wake of time of 5am came and went and I looked at the clock and it was nearly 7am I darn near panicked!
The show was really funny though and it so much fun to go out and laugh every now and then!

Or move to Las Vegas and get on the free ticket list! Last night was Defending the Cave Man and it was all about the foibles between men and women and oh my gosh we laughed!! And the best part it is that the free ticket things was offered to teachers, so now we nearly always are seated next to other teachers and even though we havent met before we are by rights already friends!

You know Val, Jailhouse Rock video is the earliest memory I have of Elvis...must have been a commercial for a movie or something...'cause I was born in '66; though it was the year my DH was born ;-)

fresshe- We stayed at Excalibur when we went to Vegas in July, and saw tons of signs and even a guy dressed as a caveman to promote that show. We didn't go, but heard it was funny. I am a teacher, too. What do you teach?

Morning everyone. i love Elvis. i want to renew our wedding vows in Las Vegas and can't
decide between old fat Elvis or young sexy Elvis to do the vows. sheesh decisions decsions
Love your layout Val. Speaking of bridges..I just had someone email me pictures of the bridge they are building beside the dam. How awesome is that? I don't recall you ever mentioning they were building a new one and I hadn't seen anything about it until I had gotten those pictures. WOW..it's gonna be something else!

I got the cluster of picts Val but not sure much else to depict Jailhouse Rock, LOL! I should have scrapped some of my Memphis picts! I have lots of those after living there for a year. Great Challenge, here's mine
Here is my entry to your challenge Val. Took some doing since I'm not one to put lots of things on a page other than pictures. I actually went back in after saving it for the web and reopened it up and added 4 more things to it!
