One of the first songs I can remember as a child was, �How Much Is That Doggie In the Window,� written by Bob Merrill and recorded by Patti Page in 1952. It reached #1 on both the Billboard and Cash Box charts in 1953, and has not only been used in numerous books and movies over the years but has also been recorded by several other artists. (Believe it or not, there was even a reggae version recorded!!)
I was pretty young in 1953 (just 2-3 years old), but because of the song�s popularity for all ages, I often heard it on the radio throughout my childhood years. My favorite stuffed animal was a little brown doggie that I carried around until I started kindergarten, so the song had a lot of meaning for me. I still love dogs today . . . and that brings me to my challenge . . .
I�D LIKE YOU TO SCRAP A PAGE USING DOG PICTURES!** They can be of a current dog(s) or one that forever remains in your heart through fond memories. They can even be the pet of a family member or friend � any canine who has added meaning to your life or that of someone you know.
I�D ALSO LIKE YOU TO: add to your page a quote, song title or lyrics about dogs. If you don�t already have a quote, here are a few sites that have some good ones:
**If you don�t have a dog and can�t think of a dog in your life you�d like to scrap � then feel free to scrap pictures of your cat or other pet and use a quote about that breed of animal instead!!

This is a very cool challenge Wendy!!!!! And a challenge it is for me....I'm allergic to animals so I have never had pets :( Which really sucks cuz I LOVE animals....every now and then I'll pet (often with a pencil so I'm not actually touching the animal...lol) someone's dog or cat but I pay for it big time...even end up in the hospital sometimes with asthma complications.
Anyway....I DO know how I can do this challenge!!!! See my husband loves Snoopy....and as a child he had a Charlie Brown shirt of which I have a picture of...just so happens that as a child I had a Snoopy Shirt and I have a picture of that!! So I've been wanting to do a layout with those two pictures for sometime now!!! Now I just have to find them....

Good afternoon ladies. just got back from being kidnapped(or mommynapped) by my dd#1 to attend college orientation. 3 hours, not the morning I planned.
I love all the ideas for doggy pages. I used my bil's animal. I'm allergic so we don't have any pets. off to take pics.

Wendy -- thank you so much for this challenge! We just put our dog down right before Christmas and this was very theraputic for me. With the busyness of the holidays I really didn't have a chance to mourn for him. I was in tears the whole time I made this page, but it was good. Thank you
Fun challenge - I'm always so busy trying to catch up on kid scrapping that I neglect my pets! Glad for the opportunity to put these together... here's Puppy Love. TFL
For my layout, you will need to believe that the glow worm is a snail! LOL! And since we haven't broken down and gotten a "real" dog for DGS yet, I've used some of his favorite stuffed ones for this page.
Better late than never! ;) I loved this challenge, Wendy!! My pages are the story of when my dog 'escaped' from my folks house without us knowing and ran up the middle of the road, the wrong way.. Scary. Anywho, happy ending!
