SHOUT!
*Written and performed by The Isley Brothers (O'Kelly, Ronald, and Rudolph Isley) in 1959, but did not chart
*Remade in 1962 by Joey Dee & The Starlighters and reached #6 on the Top 40 charts
*Also re-released in 1962 by the Isley Brothers, but once again it did not break into the Top 40
*Made famous with version by Otis Day & The Knights in the movie "Animal House" from 1978
*One of the great party songs of all time

Shout lyrics:
Well..............
You know you make me want to (SHOUT)
Kick my heals up and (SHOUT)
Throw my hands up and (SHOUT)
Throw my head back and (SHOUT)
Come on now (SHOUT)
Don't forget to say you will (SHOUT)
Don't forget to say-ay-ay-ay-ay-yeah (SHOUT)

Lift my feet up and (SHOUT) (ooo)
Throw my head back and (SHOUT) (ooo)
Kick my heels up and (SHOUT) (ooo)
Come on now (SHOUT) (ooo)
Take it easy (SHOUT) (ooo)Take it easy (SHOUT) (ooo)Take it easy (SHOUT) (ooo)

A little bit softer now (SHOUT) [x12]

A little bit louder now (SHOUT) [x8]

So many things to shout about I will have to decide what makes me want to shout the most right now!

I actually started this page as part of a double page spread yesterday with another challenge...just need to do the title and journaling...

The story was soooooo exciting for me (& my dd1). Dd1 HATES Roller Coasters and will not get on them, she had a bad experience when she was four. She's really not a ride person at all and I think it is all tied into her learning disabilities and issues from a wee age. Well last time we went to Universal, SHE decided she wanted to go on Rip Ride Rocket Rollercoaster!!! I acted like 'whatever' as to not make her feel bad when I knew she'd chicken out last minute...WELL SHE RODE IT!!! We all were shouting for her and letting her know how proud we were of her for doing something sooooooo very scary! I still choke up thinking about it; she's starting to reach outside her comfort zones at the age of 15 and try things we never thought she'd do :-)

That's awesome. It's always great to see children do that.

Funny how we have to eat isn't it?
I just threw the cranberry (turkey) meatloaf in the oven. I talked my DS through the making of it. When you have someone who takes words literally it can be interesting what comes of it.

still SHOUTing at my computer here - ok not really, did lose my page, but at least it got me away from the computer and do something productive, like give my baby a much needed bath

I need to restart that page, but it's no loss, at least I have direction and know what I want to do and who knows maybe it will come out better this time!!

a walk in the woods sounds like so much fun. We have so much snow here that snowshoes would be a necessity if walking in the woods. It's been about 15 years since we have seen a build up of this much snow.

I'm still interested in the turkey cranberry meatloaf, can you send me the recipe? Sounds like it may be healthy (or at least a healthier option) and something my family would enjoy!

Default Cranberry Turkey Meatloaf

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. jellied cranberry sauce (can use whole berry sauce instead)
2 pds ground turkey (or you can do 1 1/2pds turkey and 1/2 pd ground pork)
3/4 c. milk
2 TBSP A1 Sauce
2 TBSP ketchup
1 tsp mustard
2/3 c. bread crumbs (I use italian seasoning crumbs)
2 eggs
salt and pepper
1 envelop lipton onion soup mix.

Sprinkly brown sugar on bottom of a greased loaf pan.
Spread cranberry sauce on top of sugar.
Mix all other ingredients together then add the meat.
Place on top of the sugar and cranberry sauce.
Bake at 350 for about 1 hr (it usually takes about 1 1/4 to 1/1/2 to cook through)
Let sit for about 30 minutes
Invert loaf pan on a platter and serve

You can use hamburg too...or ground chicken.

I love the idea of doing a book of recipes and digital what a great way of having it printed too.

You and me both! I've been singing this song since the challenge went live, and my dogs have been looking at me like I'm nuts!

We really could have used some snowshoes today! Lucky for us lots of people had packed down the trails before us. When we went off-trail to check out some tracks the snow was over my knees. My dd was up to her waist! (no wonder she got so tired!)

Yes I can finally move on, got my page redone, maci and maddy are playing (I think?) don't hear crying screaming or yelling and they are in eyesight, so all is good at the moment, now to see what I have really been missing out on!!!

Scrap on!!

Oh did I mention I made myself a cup of coffee, should be able to go for a while as long as the little ones cooperate!

Sounds really good - I'll definitely try this one! Reminds me of pineapple upside down cake!

What a fantabulous page!! Yes, I still love Bob and Larry after all these years!

I love how you did your page. And you're right, they do look remarkably similar!
