Our FIRST miniVSBN is here!
We'll follow most of the same rules as the "REAL" VSBN.
- 2 hour time limit for each page/pages (honor system)
- Upload your layouts to SBC08jan1, SBC08jan2, SBC08jan3
- It's ok if you want to upload l/o's w/ your picts not included or covered. We recognize that some sisters prefer not to put picts online but we want you to feel included!!
- You have until Thursday, January 31 to upload your CHALLENGE pages.

Challenge #1 -SBC08jan1
Did you know that we have in our Scrappin' Challenge Group our VERY OWN sketch Designer? Yup, it's Sally (Salster)! Each Friday she uploads some GREAT sketches to the Scrapbook Sketch Challenge Thread! I thought it would be a GREAT way for us to get our miniVSBN kicked off by having the opportunity to use one of Sally's sketches. You will find them all HERE.
CHALLENGE #1 -- Pick a Sketch from the Gallery Attached. Upload to SBC08jan1! Bonus Points for using Stamps in your Layout. Use them for your titles, embellishments or adding to your background.
MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN!

I'm been in such a PANIC the last 1/2 hour....my wireless network decided to act up and I kept getting kicked off in the middle of the post. OMGoodness... I was freaking out.... LOL! Just imagine!

Okay, do I need to let you know which Sketch I'm going to do? This is my very first virtual scrapbooking thing:confused:
hey there and welcome! No, you don't "have" to do anything... you can run off and make your layout or you can chat it up along the way with us... whatever you want to do!
Wow! Too many sketches and pics to choose from! Where will I begin?! Oh well, I have printed a sketch, now to decide on pics! Hopefully something will jump out at me!

Hey Lela! I made it! Just back from a date with my oldest son...always ALWAYS time well spent!!!!!!! Okay, so it's 2:49 in the afternoon and I've chosen my sketch (will bookmark those, btw!)...and off I go................ I even have my 'puter here with me so I can try and multi-task..... :rolleyes:

Ooooh, the pressure...the anticipation...the thrill...

I've got dinner in the slow cooker and heading to start creating. I picked one sketch, had the papers picked and everything, then looked at photos and am going a completely different direction complete with different sketch. I found photos to go with the most current and it just jumped out at me. Gotta head back to the table. I really should listen to my youngest and go wireless in the house.
It may have to wait until the morning because it's almost midnight here and I have to get up at 5 AM.
Yup, I would say let it wait. You'll have all night to subconcientiously think about the sketch and picts you want to select...it will come together for you tomorrow!! Good Night Lanita!! See ya in the a.m.

Welcome to Corporate America...however, it would be 2 hours....then have to go to committee for awhile....kind of like, "Hurry Up...no wait...." LOL!

yes, finally kicked the hubby off the puter, although I can't complain since he has been working on taxes, one more thing is all we need to get so we can complete them, I can't wait till 2/1/08 to file them. Ok so now to print off the sketches and head downstairs to create, I already printed off pics from hubby's bday earlier today, so I am ready!

I'm a "hair up and off my face, no rings, no music, no food near me" kinda scrapper... tmi??? tee hee

Hair: short
Clothes: jeans and my comfy "ink er up" shirt
Shoes: nope, I hardly ever wear em--white socks
