On The Biggest Loser, contestants are basically competing to lose the most weight. They have to work really, really hard at this, and totally change up their lifestyle. And they don’t do it alone- they need the competitive motivation from each other, the personal trainers, etc.
My challenge to you is to scrap something YOU had to work really hard to achieve! This could be earning a degree, building a house, anything that took a lot of your time and effort to accomplish.
And since we can’t reach these goals alone, lets use one of Sally’s Friday Scrapbook Sketches and/or a Tuesday Color Challenge
To get you thinking, my samples are HERE and HERE.
The Gallery for all submissions for this challenge are HERE
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SATURDAY, May 1, 2010.

I actually have the perfect picture for this challenge. I have worked hard to have a lot of things that I have but this one is very special to me. I'm off to find a sketch to use. Great challenge to kick off VSBN Saturday!
Good Morning Ladies! How's everyone doing today? I dropped one off at a Girl Scout event and have another going to a Lacrosse game...I leave in 30 minutes to catch up with her so thought I'd check in.
This is a great challenge. I think I'll do mine on DD1, she has to work so hard for everything (learning disabilities) but her work ethic is better than anyone her age because of it! I think I'll worry less about her as an adult that I will my younger child who is above average in learning...go figure :-)
Whew...just getting by today...just finished my page for my challenge later today...nothing like running against the clock! DH let me stay home and he'll go to DD2s game. I feel bad but not really...aren't I terrible! Now I can play stress free for the rest of the day. However, I have to focus on my Girl Scout gift album (I'm up to page 52 already!) and I think this challenge will work great for our Sea Turtle Workshop...I'll start it during the break...now off to eat something :-) Lunch time here in Florida...
I've been in looking at layouts. Very nice ladies.
I used to have a big garden when I was a SAHM but that was years and years ago. Now we live in a residential neighborhood and I don't think anyone here has a garden. They don't even hang out their clothes to dry! I just bought a portable telescoping clothes dry hanger from the Vermont Country Store to use over the summer to dry the "heavy" things. Wouldn't want to offend my neighbors with the unmentionables! lol! I figure it's a way to "go green" and hopefully save a bit on the electric bill and over the winter, I'll set it up in the basement and take advantage of the humidity from the wet clothes to help with the dry air.

My MIL still hangs their clothes out to dry!
The garden is my parents, (they have a few acres) but they were out of town for two weeks so tending the garden fell to me. But that was ok- I got plenty of food out of it! I live in a townhouse complex and we can't get anything to grow. LOL.

I guess time is up. I'll give myself another 20 min since I spent so much time trying to figure out how to get this into the master thread. See you all after the break. Thanks for a job well done Tanya. Your sample pages were super.

Hey everyone thought I would get busy with some of the challenges and see if my mojo would return. Didn't work! I completed this challenge and have been looking at the others for hours.......hopefully I can kick this and get busy this coming week. Stress sure zaps your mojo!!! Anyway I started with this challenge because I new the exact pictures I wanted to use when I read Tanya's challenge. I chose to use this Tuesdays color challenge for my page sage shadow apricot appeal and basic gray. Great challenge thanks Tanya!
I did sponge the edges of the cardstock and I also sponged over the entire stickers that were white...way too bright for the page. That toned them down quite a bit. I also used a marker to trace some of the lines around the Create word that had been on the one DP so it would stand out a bit. Worked perfectly for a title!
I used Sally's SBSC180 sketch. This LO talks about us having the opportunity to have this house built. It was such a great feeling when we were picking out the bricks, colors, flooring and everything else that went along with it. I may not have built this house with my own hands but I have endured a lot to be able to have it.
Here is my dps for this challenge. It is not something that I worked hard at but rather something that my brother has worked hard at. He is n illustrator and was asked by Canada Post to creat a set of stamps depicting "Canadians in Hollywood". During one of my many moves, my parents, my kids and I went to the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa (dh went to the War Museum). My son ran a little ahead then yelled "Come see this!" We went around the corner into the Canada Post section and saw large images of my brother's stamps made into the floor. His stamps were also framed along with the second set that he made. We were all very proud. I don't think my brother was aware of the big stamps. I am very proud of my brother's talent and curse that I can barely draw stick people. Her is my dps.
