You can use your Silhouette without a computer, as you store your images on the SD card, like the cameras have..but really I can still take my laptop and my Silhouette with me anywhere, if I really want to...so to me, it was not a huge selling point.

Eva, could I cut any of my OWN images on this machine?
You sure could...you just need to download a free software and trace around the image to create a cutting file and just cut it...told you..it's awesome...you can create your own cutting files by scanning in things.

I'm back from visiting. This challenge is almost doable in digi...except any suggestions on the handmade part? I could do piecing perhaps in some manner? All my stuff is upstairs where everyone is asleep so I can't go making noise at 11 in the evening.

I've never combined digi with an actual layout but I LOVe the look
Michael is WAY too close to his family, but we've thought about moving in a few years...We will see if he ever follows through...I predict we will be 60 by the time we move there! LOL...By then he will change his mind to Arizona and I do NOT want to move there!

I've not done that yet. I did do the first VSBN challenge by digi though using Sally's sketch. I know that Wendy (wendella247) does lots of hybrid scrapping and her layouts turn out awesome!

Gosh, I wouldn't even know where to start with digi layouts...hehehe...but yeah paper piecing is handmade, so go for it, I'd say...and no you don't want to wake up peeps in your home, they might be grumpy.

I love it here!! Except for the snow ;) but you get plenty of that there too!
My SIL is in the Marines and has just been transferred to Colorado. They will be near Aurora I think. So we will probably exchange our timeshare and go out there next year for vacation. I've never been to Colorado before.
