oh and I'm not sure I can handle anymore dust bunnies at my house.... (my colored ones were a freebie when I won a contest though yoooo hooo) They are fun. One little bottle will last you a lifetime! You would not believe how compressed those dust bunnies are! You'll never run out of fun flock. :p

After I said that...I got to thinking about the texture of modge podge...and honestly, I don't know. If you're using modge podge as a surface primer before painting (and it's working out), I reckon it would work on chipboard too! I thought modge podge WAS a sealant of sorts and I was thinking you wouldn't be able to apply something over sealant and it stay put.
Sorry.

No need for apologies... I hadn't thought of it for chipboard, but your gesso made me wonder... I paint my cb 2-3 times sometimes because of the soak up issue...
there are just sooo many things out there to use for stuff. I saw something recently about using MP for the flock. I think it was in CK or SE.
There days that I think that the industry looks at us as a bunch of idiots with money to blow... stickles for instance... I just go and use my son's crayola glitter glue! and all of the different distressing inks..I honestly don't see all that much different.... it's that old po- tay -to, po ta to thing....

Thanks! :-D
I never thought of modgepodge for chipboard other than using it to attach something (paper) to the chipboard. If I'd known I could use modge podge for the same purpose I'm using gesso...probably wouldn't have gotten the gesso. ;)
So far...the chipboard is the same color as the ink I put on it! YAY! :-D
Modge podge and fun flock! WOW! That would be neat! Wonder how that would work out...

speaking of gardening... my ds planted some old bean seeds over Spring Break (April) and we've been growing them in pots inside. We didn't realize they were the pole beans that climb! (they are now attaching themselves to things in the family room....) and yesterday beans appeared!
wow, indoors? MAGIC beans??

oi! I just came in from the gdn to my scrap table and here's my dh RIGHT outside the window working on the eaves - trying to KILL himself. It's driving me bananas! I keep asking if he wants me to hold the ladder but NO, he's 'got it'

Done...just starting to upload. Gee, I never get done a challenge from beginning to start in one sitting :-) DD2 is home...just after DD1 went out...only ended up w/ a 30 minute break from children...oh well...maybe I'll let her play the DS after all:mrgreen:
Here is my page. My stripes are in the umbrella and the very bottom of the paper has a few stripes. I used a cool blue mulberry paper and my tag is my circle! TFL
