Default Stampin Up stamp...not....

I have an unmounted red rubber Stampin Up stamp that will not stick to an acrylic block and it won't stick to Misti.

What do I need to do to get it sticky again?

I don't think this makes a difference but it's from the Delicate Doilies set.

Thanks!

Did you put the decal thingey on it? Or is the bare cling just not clinging?

It's just bare rubber. The "white" circle won't stick to the back of it.

Bare rubber with no foam? Which is how I read "bare rubber"...If it's still got the foam, sometimes a gentle wash with mild soapy water can help. If it's simply bare naked rubber you must have had something on it at some stage like TIOO, or it would never have stuck to anything. Maybe that needs replacing. For immediate use a simple glue stick works well and is easy to clean off both the stamp and block.

If it's bare naked rubber, you must have removed the cling. Stampin Up rubber stamps are always on cling. (Don't they? Or has Stampin UP started offering bare rubber stamps?) So I assume you mean the cling is not sticking.

What do you mean by the "white circle"?

Sorry ladies....I've been running errands!

It has the cling on it. The "white" circle should be on the cling side of the stamp. That circle won't stick either.

gingerd, are you talking about the shiny white backing paper on the stamp? If so, that should be peeled off. The back should look grey.

I think a picture would help. At this point I am really curious to understand what is going on. You've got me hooked!

Can you post a picture? I am still not sure what is not sticking, exactly.
