Is anyone (individual) getting their Spellbinders' preorders?
I ordered in January knowing it would be awhile. At that time, the expectation was that they would "ship" the the 2nd week of March which I took to mean that Spellbinders would ship to stores that week.
This being the 18th, individuals should be starting to get theirs.
So, anyone received theirs yet, and from which online store did you order?
I believe Spellbinders "said" they would ship soon when they notified the vendors, but there has been no date set in stone that I know of. One of the vendors I work for talked with Spellbinders and was told that they would be shipping this week. But I don't know if that actually happened or not.
So, to my knowledge, none of the stores have received their shipments yet.
Has anyone else had problems with Spellbinders and their order deliveries? My hubby bought me some dies from Spellbinders off my Wish List and I STILL haven't gotten them. Grrrr... :mad:
When I contacted Spellbinders, I keep getting run-around answers as to where the order is, if it's been shipped already or not, if it was billed to the credit card, and on and on. Needless to say, Hubby is very angry by now, threatening to contact the credit card company, and says he won't buy from Spellbinders directly anymore. :
So, I'm STILL waiting to recieve my $100 order, STILL have no new dies, and now I need to locate another company where I can purchase them.
Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your hassles; I've never ordered directly from Spellbinders just b/c of cost. I have, however, ordered their products from lots of other places online. I'll PM you a few of my experiences. There will be others with insight, of course. You can go from there.
I ordered for the store at CHA and my order is shipping today or Monday. Their shipment was delayed from China (as usual) and things didn't ship in Feb. when they were expected to. They should start hitting most stores next week.
It's par for the course when things come (literally) on the slow boat from China and then get held up in customs. Plus you throw in the Chinese New Year and that's another delay.

right, don't they take like half the month off? I thought I heard that somewhere-
I received 4 or 5 of they new designs about 10 days ago, the rest shipped today, so I would think most stores would have most of the designs sometime next week.
I preordered with Scrap-Mart and received my order today.
I talked to my sister today; she also preordered from Scrap-Mart and received hers Wednesday. I got an email from my preorder company (Claudia and Company) saying she has hers and will be mailing them early next week. Exciting stuff!
Now that the stores are getting their stock and the preorders filled, they'll soon be changing the online status from "preorder" to "in stock." That's when I'm really gonna start buying - can't wait! This was such a nice release.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I totally understand backorder and problems with Spellbinders receiving their order from China. What really bothers me and hubby is the runaround they're giving us. Why not be upfront and TELL us what's going on? I can work with that. <sigh> We'll see what happens.

I ordered the Parisian sets from Cut@home and received them a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the gear set a couple of weeks ago from 7kidscollegefund and still haven't received it. I've been seeing on the websites that this particular set is back ordered until April. :(

Same w/1 of my sets; foliage, I think it's called. A few of the sites are showing some of the sets IN STOCK. Yippee!
I preordered several dies from scrapping circus for a great price...better than any I have seen elsewhere but have not received them yet. Maybe this week we'll get our toys in the mail....til then, we have to be creative with what we got! The lady with the irrate husband should remember that car parts operate on the same basis....delays, delays, delays!

Hey Dottie, did you get your pre-orders yet? I'm curious b/c SC was the company I've been watching to post the "In Stock" notice. Like you said, good price. But that notice hasn't posted; I've tried calling them on the # on their home page, and I can't get through. The msg says "unreachable," whatever that means.
I've ordered from them in the past w/o probs, but now I'm curious. Sure would like to go ahead and order.
I got a shipment last Wednesday with nearly all the new ones...Now if I could only feel well enough to go in and do something with them... Just tell me to quit whining...sorry ladies.

Hi Binx. No, I haven't received my order yet. I have emailed but no reply either. They have replied to my emails before so maybe they are just getting sick of waiting, too. I check the site everyday to find no change from "processing to shipping". I have ordered from them before with no problem, so I do think this issue is a supplier issue.

Thx, dottiej. I've been checking them from time-to-time as well. I'm with you, I've had no probs ordering from them in the past. So.... I'm waiting with you (and them). Sure would like them to get their shipment; eager to order. Two more days left in the week, maybe it'll happen!

SCircus is back ordered still....looks like another month before a new shipment comes in FROM CHINA. Foilage along with a few other dies they were short of and could not fill all the orders. I must say though, some of the dies I ordered are being shipped and I should receive them any day now. Just not the Grand Caliber and its dies. This release is hitting like hot cakes. They are pretty awesome.

I received a shipment this week, but some items are still on back order.
Those items include Foilage, Ribbon Banner, and Elegant Posts. Hopefully, those will arrive soon too.
