Default Diff between Ranger ink refresher & Ranger distress ink refresher

When I called their company I was told there really isn't a difference between these 2 products and both work equally well to create a faux leather look on cardstock.
The cardstock that I used the regular ink refresher on begins to separate into 2 layers when almost dry. The distress ink refresher does not.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Also, the distress ink refresher on cardstock never seems to feel completely dry.

They seem the same to me.

I wrote to Ranger and they responded:

Quote:

Hi Dina,

Thank you for your email.

Slight adjustments were made to Ranger Ink Refresher™ to make it suitable for Distress Inks as well.

Distress Refresher works with other water-based ink and paint products as well.

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what the change is, but at least they did acknowledge a difference...
