You are welcome, hope it or something else works for you. Personally I try to work around using clear as much as possible and I would not buy Liquidtex clear again.
Today I made a jar using pinkpoodle's recipe on Youtube. I tested it and it works great! I tweaked the recipe a bit as I went along since my container was larger.
It was worth the investment in buying the marble powder. Now I have enough marble powder to make clear gesso for years.
It is not smooth like plain cardstock, but it is not rough like some glitter cardstocks. It's dried texture is similar to regular gesso, its just clear.

It has an extremely rough texture which may be great for some techniques but not for bible art journaling. It was nothing like the white Liquidtex which I also have and use/love in regular art journaling.
THANK YOU Bohodiva! A nice video on Clear Gesso! ;) I know what I'll be getting soon! LOL ;) I WONDER IF checking the farm store we'll find WHITE Calcium Carbinate???? Maybe cheaper? I'll have my hubby check when he goes into town! ;)
