Mindy, that is a great idea about storing the backgrounds across the top. Right now my are lined up next to it. Thanks for the idea!!!!

I am thinking this gal must be swamped right now, I know of at least 11 people that bought them since I posted this.

If I ever get a stamp room, I am definitely buying this! What great storage you have for both pads and re-inkers! I also love the idea someone had of putting background stamps on top. That's a whole other layer of storage.

I have a suggestion for hanging it on the wall.

I bought these hooks on QVC, but you can probably find them other places as well. They are metal, very thin. You kind of screw it into the drywall (definitely not a stud). Then, as it reaches the wall, it spins around and provides support as it rests on the back side of the wall. You are just left with a small hook sticking out. If you can put a hook on each side of the rack and put picture wire between them, two QVC hooks will work great! I used them to hang a huge, heavy old mirror in my DD's room, and it's been there for several years now. If you ever take it down, you only have two small holes in the wall. I'm going to see if I can find a link.

Here's the link. There is a video that shows you how it works.

Hmm. It doesn't work for me either. The link is a couple of months old, so they are probably out of them. I have seen an ad for these on TV lately. (on the regular channels) I think Billy Mays does the ads. Maybe the hardware stores even have them by now. They really are wonderful!
On the TV commercial, they say they'll send you free hooks for life - just pay shipping and handling.

I think I need one of these as my stamp pad collection is growing. A rubbermaid just isn't cutting it anymore! I like that you can mount it on a wall. What a space saver!! Thanks for sharing Mandy!

She doesn't have any for sale on eBay right now, darn it! I emailed her, though, to see if she's going to be selling more soon. I'm really liking all the storage!

And I just looked to see when the last post was made before mine...yeah...December. So that answers that question. ha ha! But if she has more of the 120 ones I really would like one!

If you're not finding what you like there, try sixxle.com I bought a unit from them a few weeks ago. It's in my gallery if you wanna take a peek. I got the one that holds 120 ink pads - very pleased with the quality! It was $85, shipping was only $3 and I had it in less than a week. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat! Good luck with your search. Stamp pad storage is oh, so important!!

I still have to stain & seal mine to match my stamp room...but I just had to share this with my SCS friends!!

The one I bought was $65, they go down in price from there. And they will make one for you, if you have a special request.

You can either do 'buy it now' from e-bay otherwise I have the gals e-mail and you can e-mail her to order (that's what I did). (send me a pm for her e-mail address)

Here is a link to her ebay auctions:

***a little note*** I do not have any affliation with this person, I was just very happy with my purchase and wanted to share a great find!
I have a smaller one and LOVE it:p

Did you know you can tell her you need one for your SU sets and she will make them special for you? (At least if that is the lady I bought mine from.....LOL) It is so cool! Love it so much I don't know what I did before I had it!

Very nice! I like the one with the wheel storage between the two sets of ink pad holders. My dad is a wonderful wood worker so I'm going to see if he can make me one. Right now I am using photo storage boxes.

This is nice, I would love to have one of those rotating ones that sit on the desk. I keep telling DH that he needs to make me one. I have a feeling if I show him the ones for sale that other PPL make he might say - oh I can't make it for that so just buy it. LOL!

Ok thanks a lot Mandy.. now my DH will REALLY hate me being on SCS... I want one of those.. It will be great instead of the SU one (sorry SU) I have more pads now and I too do not want too many of the caddies on my desk.. I'm limited in space as well.

So now can you come over and stain it too?? Set up my room so I can find everything too?? *grinz*
