Does anyone know where to buy only white crayons? I'd love to buy a box of, say, 12 white crayons to use for resist. I don't like buying a large box of crayons I don't use just to get the one white crayon. Thanks for your help!

Another good idea is when all the school supplies are on sale, buy 12 boxes. Keep the white ones (who colors with white?) and donate the boxes to your local schools! You both win and it really wouldn't cost much cause they are on sale. ;)
Would a clear crayon work? Sorry I have not tried this technique but I know at Easter I have 6 or 8 clear crayons that I never know what to do with. I meant to post last year and see if anyone had any ideas because I am sure they are good for something with stamping. Anyways at Easter if you color eggs or know someone that does you get three clear crayons in the egg coloring kits. You can buy them at a Dollar store. hth

They're wax like crayon and work for resist techniques, but you can get a little more detailed with the. They're about as long as a regular pencil and you sharpen them by pulling down the string on the side and peeling back the paper.
I was playing around with this technique awhile ago - is it the technique where you write with the crayon on glossy cardstock, it resists the ink, and then later wipe the crayon off? In my case I didn't have white either but I played around and realized any light colored crayon would work. I think I used yellow and pink. They both came off fine. Hope this helps!!
