Default Where to buy Brother Scan n Cut DX

ok...my BLUES have won the Stanley Cup and I get a Brother Scan n Cut! ha...I was wondering where you have found the best place to buy one of these machines and what accessories are a must have for a beginner to have. I have never owned an electronic cutting machine. I have been debating the Scan n Cut dx and the Cricut Maker...the scanning feature is what has pretty much sealed the deal for me Thanks for any help.

Have you tried the Brother's website? Not sure of any deals but may have a bit of information for you. HTH

I've been looking recently. Bettyjoanes seems to be right - can't find any deals. AMZN has it, but not a great deal. HSN has the best price that I've found, but it's not super. Maybe eBay (I'm watching one there)? Maybe Prime day (rumor has it that will begin 7/15)? Just haven't seen my "yes!" price yet. I've found a Brother dealer near here; gonna run up there on Monday to see what they've got going.

One thing I have noticed is that if you want the DX 125, be careful; the retailers are still selling the older machines side-by-side with the newer ones.

thanks....that's about what I found that HSN looked to be the best but kept getting confused as to what was coming with the machine. Amazon has a couple of offers but there again not sure what is coming with it. Will keep my eye open to whether or not Prime day has anything...thanks for tip of retailers....I also saw Michaels carry them but you have to order online.

You're welcome. Just searched Michael's web site. They have supplies, but the only machine I saw was the Scan N Cut 2 (the older machine as I understand it). Perhaps your search yielded different results; I'm trying to be careful to get the model I want and not just buy the one with the best price. When you get down to it, the same goes for mats, if what I've learned is correct.

I purchased a Scan n Cut machine a few years back through a local store specializing in sewing machines and quilting products. That might be worth a try if you have something like that in your area.

I was going to suggest HSN, also. Here's a link with video demo: Brother ScanNCut DX Electronic Cutting Machine w/Design Content & Mat - 8872439 | HSN

The next craft day should have more. I've not bought craft bundles but the phone & kitchen bundles I have bought have been great values.
