whats wrong with my white craft ink??

I purchased white craft ink after seeing beautiful cards using the ink on this site. I don't know what I am doing wrong, my stamp images don't come out solid and the ink is globby. Also I have a hard time getting the ink off my stamps. I am afraid that the ink is ruining my stamps because I can't get all the ink off. What am I doing wrong?? Please help!

It sounds like you might have got a bum pad. That happens sometimes. I would contact your demo and have her exchange it.

Ink on your stamps is ok, it will not harm them. Some cleaners will clean them more than others. The super power cleaner on the market is called "Ultra Clean". It will clean any kind of ink off of your stamps.

Craft ink is different from the dye based inks. they tend to be more gooey than the regular ink pads and take longer to dry. I use baby wipes to clean my stamps after using Craft ink, cleaning them the usual way doesn't produce good results.
Also, try inking your stamp so that the image is facing up and pat the ink pad onto the image. You might deposit more ink this way! Let me know how you make out!

You will get more 'ink' with these pads.............probably only need to
tap-tap-tap 3x then stamp your image lightly.

Cleaning..........I pour a bit of dishwashing soap on my scrub pad and scrub away (don't worry about getting the wood wet-----I submerge them ALL THE TIME and have been doing so for 10 years and don't have one ruined stamp).

I would skip expensive cleaners and wipes------NOT NEEDED.

Good luck!
