I do own all the circle nestabilities, but was wondering if I should still get the scalloped punch or any of the circle punches? And what other punches to consider.
Thanks
Susan
I don't have any of the nestbilities so I'm not sure if my favorites are one you would be interested in, but latey I've been finding myself consistently reaching for my scallop circle punch and the coordinating 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches.
I try to stick to the ones I can't buy anywhere else -- since I can get the 1 3/8 circle punch at A.C. Moore for 40 percent off, along with most other circles and squares, the ones I've gotten from Stampin Up are the ticket corner punch, the slot punch -- although I have to admit I did order the scallop circle punch from Stampin Up because I couldn't find it in a store anywhere -- all I can find are the scalloped squares!
Of course, I just started buying punches, too, so I don't know, maybe the Stampin Up! ones are worth the money.
I just got the scalloped circle so that it coordinates with the SU sets. I agree about the word window punch too and this go around I am ordering the one that makes paper look like notebook paper. Duh, I am having a moment...my apologies.
For some odd reason word window punch has been on my want list forever but I've been putting it off for so long.... and I don't know why! slit punch was my first punch buy. I don't use it very much actually. I go for my scallop more than anything, but it's a fairly new one so I'm still in the 'honeymoon' stage with it.
I use the ticket corner punch all the time. I also love the word window punch and the ovals. I have put off ordering the scallop circle punch because I have the Nestabilities but punches are so quick and it coordinates with the SU images so I am going to get it. The slot punch and tag corner punch are also on my list.
I have the ticket corner & tag corner punches that I use a lot, I use the slot today to make a bunch of little goodie bags (the 2, 5, 7, 10 boxes...), I have been using my scallop punch like a mad woman (with the coordinating circles), and I haven't used my sprial punch yet (the one that looks like it came out of a notebook), but I have some projects planned for it, I just haven't started yet!!

I, too, have all of the circle nestabilities, but purchased the Scalloped Punch anyway...it's so much quicker! I still use my nestabilities, but prefer using the scalloped punch when using SU's circle images that work perfectly with the 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" punches, just for speed. As far as other punches that are must haves...um...all of them? Just kidding. The ones I reach for most right now are the circles, the photo corners, the scallop, and the star (for use with the Nursery Necessities set primarily).
I love all my punches. My punch collection is getting out of control. I've run out of cafe rod space for holding them. Anywho, I love the Scallop Circle and all the other circles, the Round Tab, the Word Window, Photo Corners, and the slit punch. I love punches!!!!!

I love the word window punch, the two tag punches--they coordinate well with some SU! sets and ticket corner. I have just started using the ticket corner punch and love the look it gives to my pages and cards!

I am a fairly new stamper with SU and these are the ones I'm often reaching for: Ticket Corner, Word Window, Slot Punch (I like using this one with ribbon).
My top favorites are: spiral punch (why hasn't anyone said this one? I love this!), word window, ticket corner punch and the new photo corner punch. Love punches!!!
My favorites are the word window punch (because you can use it many different ways), the ticket corner punch and the photo corner punch. I have lots others but these are the ones I seem to use the most...the slit punch is good for making scalloped edges on cards, too.
I do have Nestabilities oval classic and scalloped and love them!
I have them all *blush* but my absolute favorites are the corner ticket punch, the scallop punch, and the new arrow punch - love these! Oh, and also the photo corners punch!!! Yep, I AM addicted - LOL!
I have to add the spiral punch to my list. I am slowly getting all the punches. The quality is very good. I have a circle punch I got a Micheals, I about break my hand punching with it. THe SU punches no trouble!
I have the scalloped punch and about 6 non SU flower punches. The SU punch is by far the best. I'm wanted to get more flower punches from them and get rid of my non SU punches as they are very hard to use. The SU ones even my kids can use.
I use the two largest circles and the scallop punch the most.
A note about ticket corners. You can get the same effect with a small circle punch.
1) Turn punch upside down so you can see what you're doing
2) Stick the corner of your paper in so the tip of the paper touches the middle of the circle (the paper looks like 1/4 of a pie.)
3) Punch
I guess all these responses indicate why the SU Scalloped Circle punch is on backorder (it is still available though). I guess I'm alone in my "love" of the designer label punch. I'm also a big fan of the ticket corner punch - can't seem to do a card without it.
I've been eyeing the SU scalloped punch as well but this is not available in the Southern Hemisphere just yet. Can I ask what is the maximum diameter of the SU scalloped circle punch? Thanks!
Wow I'm so glad this thread got started! I'm a new demo and I was wondering myself what to get. I have a bunch of other punches but they're non-SU! So I can't use them for workshops...
I am definitely getting the scallop punch and ticket punch but what circles should I get (I can't get them all- too poor a student =P )? I'm a little torn because I know I can get some of them a little cheaper at the stores but I should be using SU! since I'm a demo...
