So I have my ebucks certificate from ebay, but I am kind of lost as to what I should spend it on-I have about $6 bucks but don't mind buying something more expensive.
So what I want to know is what new-fangled product are you using right now. I guess it doesn't have to be that new, just new to you. I am not really sure I want any more stamps, stamp pads, or paper right now unless perhaps it's really out of the ordinary. That's what I'm looking for: out of the ordinary card making materials.
I guess an example would be my massive supply of Lindy's Stamp Gang stuff which is all sparkly stains and sprays.
Oh, and I guess the catch is that they have to sell it on ebay.
I am loving my new ATG..not sure how I went so many years without one!!! I'm also having tons of fun with smooch paint (not the spritz). They come in little bottles that look like nail polish. So many colors, dries pretty quickly and adds color that is different from markers, water coloring, stickles, etc.
Lately I've really taken to dies, especially dies that are not spellbinders or sizzix. I want to try a sampling of all different makes. I'm amazed at some of the fine detailed cuts you can get from some of these different brands of dies.
Not sure what is sold on ebay, but my LSS has friday fun nights and we have been experimenting with different tools. The melting pot is fun to make bottle caps with. We have also played with the I-top. You can make your own brads and magnets. Way cool. Then this last friday we started playing with the Sizzix/Vintaj line. These little embossing folders and dies are used on brass and are going to be hot, hot, hot!!! It is actually geared towards jewelry making, but I think it will be fun to use as embellishments for my cards. I am attaching a picture that is a little blurred, but you can see the size and detail. The embossing folders are the size of the sizzlets.
I used mica gloss for the first time this weekend. I used it for an anniversary card for my hubby and a thank you card. It was fun and made a lovely shine. I tried it after seeing a demo at our local stamp store. Great fun!
