I have 2 machines. A Cuttlebug and a Scan N Cut 2 they do diffrent things because one is a manual machine and one is electronic so I like being able to cut dies with the cuttlebug and I love the direct cut feature of the Scan N Cut! I also want to get a Cricut explore sometime in the next few years I really like a lot of the cuts from the cartridges and all that.
But if we look at how many machines I have in my house that I can use (some belong to my mom but we share) I think we have 5 total she also has a Cricut Expression, The WRMK Eveloution Advanced and a Crafters companion Dimond Press!
Besides the Cuttlebug, I have a Silhouette Cameo. It's been sitting cutely in an Expedit cube since I unboxed it almost a year ago. I don't know if I have the patience or inclination to learn to use it.
When in learning/making mode I guess techniques and using my hands call me louder than electronics, even though I'm on my PC or iPad tons. Wish it wasn't so.
I have:1. The original Cricut machine
2. Cuttlebug
3. Cricut Expression
4. Cricut Cake (Does ANYONE out there use these anymore? Mine's been used exactly twice.)
They've all been fun. Thinking about upgrading to a different electric machine at some point, but I use my Expression with SCAL2, and that is still working well and suits me fine for now.
I have two Big Shots (I am SU demo) and a Scan N Cut. Love both! Gave my Silhouette away as it had to be connected to my computer which was in another room.
What machines do you have?
1. A Silhouette Cameo 3, which is cool because it's Bluetooth enabled.
2. A Silhouette SD (until I can get my in-laws to list it in their Ebay shop)
3. A Big Shot (Which I love, but don't use as much anymore) because I have 4. a Lifestyle Crafts Evolution. I love the Evolution because it can do everything the Big Shot does but is easier to take to crops as it can be easily packed up.

Would love to share some of my crafting with you - my blog
I have two machines – a manual Big Shot and an electric Big Shot. A kind friend gave me the electric machine when she realized that papercrafting wasn't for her. I have the manual machine packed away – my rotator cuff is very happy that I have the electric one!
When the Cricut first hit the crafting scene .. I was thinking "What a sweetheart!
when my son-in-law purchased one for DD for Christmas that year. Shortly after that Christmas, she returned it, saying she would never ever get the value from his money spent on it. (Still ... makes a crafty momma's heart warm!) LOL
My earlier stamping machines included:
Spellbinders Wizard (remember the "ratchet" handle motion?!)
Cuttlebug
Sizzix eClips - i.e. pricey dust collector
the above items are history here
Being very thankful for progress in this case, I completely adore my:
Big Shot
Brother Scan'N Cut 2 --- It cuts even when I cannot!
Misti's ... okay .. not machines ... but loved/used during nearly every stamp session. {{{heart}}}
What a fun 'older' thread! Interesting to look back to the answers from 2014. Now I'm curious ... is Santa scheduled to update your stampy/scrappy machines? Make it Merry!
I still have my red Sizzix machine, my Quickutz handle tool and my Sizzix Sidekick (yes, I may have hoarding tendencies). I haven't used the red Sizzix since I got a Big Shot many years ago, but I've used the Quickutz handle and the Sidekick within the past 6 months. I also have a Cricut Expression, a Cricut Explore and the Big Shot.
This us sort of a response to the "why so many ink pads" thread. I have recently been sucked into this line of crafting, and I've noticed through reading lots of different tutorials, blogs and websites that many people have many different machines for this craft and often many machines that accomplish similar purposes. I have brought myself a fiskars fuse and have wished for a long time to buy a silhouette cameo for similar machine.
My questions to the readers are:
What machines do you have.
Do you have two or more machines that do similar things (eg. 2 electronic die cutters, 4 manual, 2 electronic cutting machines), and if so why do you have them (eg. Upgraded and keep the other one around, one is more portable then the other)
I would like to hear your stories for why you have the machines you have, which of all you like best etc.
After buying the fuse I can't imagine wanting to buy another machine (unless it gets broken or for some reason I start to hate it, haven't lived with it long) , because I also got the adapter plates. I could imagine myself wanting a smaller machine for portability of I ever want to travel and craft (because man is the fuse heavy) and I understand the want to upgrade If I had chosen something that wasn't enough to do what I needed.
I would love to hear your replies.
I luv my Cuttle Bug and I invested in a Brother Scan & Cut in September, luv it too.
Hi - I am also a bit of a tool junkie and have/ have had:-

Sizix sidekick [given to a crafty friend in eu]
teal bigshot [given to a friend in eu]
baby cricut - use now and then
cricut expression - use now and then
Bigshot + - aso used regularly but can't use my anna griffin dies or spellbinders 3d embossing folders in it so use them in the glue bigshot

We all seem to hoard something...lol I too still have my Big Red along with what seems like 100 other machines ( I already responded to this thread and don't want to bore anyone with a repeat) Back to Big Red.....I still use this machine. Usually for cutting real thick stuff like felt or cardboard with the steel rule dies. I find it gives alot more pressure.
I see your realitively new!!! Welcome and congrats on posting in your 1st forum!!!!!

Quick question....Why can't you use Anna Griffin dies in the Big Shot Plus? I was thinking of getting that machine for my Anna Griffin dies! I mean they work fine in my regular Big Shot and my Cuttlebug but I thought a larger platform would make it easier to go through because I could angle them a bit. Your imput would be appreciated.
