Smile What is a Cuttlebug embossing folder??

I guess I am way out of the loop because I have no idea what a Cuttlebug embossing folder is. It sure makes beautiful cards. Would like to know more about it. Thank you.

That helps with the basics...

The embossing folders just run through the Cuttlebug and make the impression on your paper.

go to the gallery and type in 'embossing folder' and you will see tons of gorgeous cards using them. I think they are one of the best new tools in a long time to come around! I've always loved the look of dry embossing, but didn't do it much because of the process. these embossing folders make it so quick and easy!

DANGER WILL ROBINSON

you WILL be hooked. they are the bestest little doohickeys around for embossing card fronts. and once you discover that you can ink the folder before running it through and you end up with a lovely two toned effect on your embossed cardstock, you will be forever doomed and will scour the interweb for the best price on one and then drive your family crazy with talk of buying every folder out there.

I hemmed and hawed about a month after discovering it's joys before ordering one online. best $40, bar none I have spent on a craft tool. Just don't ask how much I have spent on folders..heheheh. oh and the die cuts.. are equally addicting ESPECIALLY the two step ones where you cut then emboss......

Hi Barefeets,

All I have to say is the embossing folders are the best thing ever. You will be totally addicted. I had the sizzix machine and tons of dies. However, I sold them on ebay and purchased my cuttlebug, embossing folders, and dies. You must add them to your wish list.

I just watched the you tube video on using the nestibilities with the cuttlebug and I will add them to my wish list.

Once you get it, happy buggin. LOL

Although I wish I had the Cuttlebug machine, I use the embossing folders on my Sizzix machine, and they work beautifully. In fact, I think they work better than the Sizzix embossing folders do. Marlene
