Tips on getting unmounted SU stamps to stick to clear block?

Does anyone have tips on how to get the Stamp'n Up unmounted/clear block stamps to stick to the clear block better? I have issues with the letters in my alphabet stamp set sticking to the block when I go to stamp.

I also have this trouble and have heard that both pieces must be clean. I wet mine with water and wipe them dry and they stick much better. Someone told me to use the SU stamp cleaner on both pieces too.
