Is there anyone else that has not received backordered items from this lady? I have ordered the same exact folders that I have on backorder with her from another site and have already received them. Just wondering if it's only me. Thanks in advance.

I just received the back ordered emb folders Sat. Everything took such a long time to arrive, I doubt I will order from that site again. Slow to answer e-mails also. Linda
Janna's hubby had a heart attack and that is why it is taking so long. I haven't heard how he is doing but she is running the business on her own. She just quit her job to run it and then her hubby had a heart attack. I WILL definately order from her again!!!
I"ll order from her again, too. But I'll wait awhile. Poor thing. Can you just imagine starting this business (and getting endorsed here!) and then having your life come to a crashing halt?
I got all mine. It did take a while, but when I heard the reason (her husband having a heart attack), I understood and waited (almost) patiently. I will order again...

I just received two of the four backordered folders. I have two more that are on backorder. I still won't complain though. I think that Provo Craft is filling orders as they received them. It sounds to me like PC didn't think the CB would be this popular. (They were wrong.)
I also just bought more A2 folders from Oh My Crafts on eBay. I was so impressed with their communication regarding parts of my first purchases from them being backordered AND the fact that they offered to let me change my items for something that was in stock, that I decided to buy from them again. (I think the folders I bought from them are actually in stock.)
I think now that we know that Thrifty Scrappers doesn't keep inventory in stock and that the wait for an order to arrive could take time BUT that the savings are great, as long as you plan on not getting something within a week, it's still worth it to order from them. (I hope that super long sentence made sense.)

my hubby is doing well. He is back to work and just working on getting himself back to normal. It really wiped him out. But he is getting better everyday.

I am very happy with my purchases from Janna... I placed my order and was notified about her husband having a heart attach (hope he's doing better) and then got my package and today I got my package of my backordered items.. less one.. it's still on backorder.. not a problem since I haven't had any time to use any of my new goodies anyways. I will gladly purchase from her site again. Thanks Janna!!! Pam

I just received my two backordered items today! I was very impressed with the priced and the reliability. I got an email explaining that her husband had a heart attack and was surprised how quickly I got my items when she was going through such a rough time!
Oh No when I posted that I would not order again, due to length of time I had NO idea her Husband had been sick. Taking it all back. So sorry for earlier post. Linda
I will order from Janna again. I heard from her this weekend about my two backordered items. She said they should be in soon. Her husband, who is in his early 40's, is recovering nicely from his heart attack. She said she thanks everyone for their prayers and good wishes for his quick recovery.
I would also order again. My original order was sent with what she had with a note that the other items would be sent soon and I got them the next day. When I had emailed her about the order I received a reply within a matter of hours. I thought her service was great Thanks Janna!

When I was looking at the homepage, there was a note at the bottom about the 40% coupon if they could get it working. Does anyone know if they are still honoring that 40%? I'm wanting to buy a Cuttlebug machine and if I can get it at such a great discount, I'll purchase it from there.
I think the text is referring to the coupon that expired April 1st. I bet she's forgotten to remove that. The coupon had was for 40% off your first order.

I just got the remainder of my embossing folders today. First, let me say that my question in NO way means that I will not order from her again. I was just concerned that my order may have got lost in the mail if everyone else had received their stuff. I'm happy to hear that her husband is on the mend and know how much stress she must have been under with his health issues and starting a new business. I will be ordering from her in the future.
I had a problem with my order but I did get an email and she is going to take care of it. I told her to take her time and not worry. I was happy with the service and I will order from her again.

I ordered the bug and 4 folders and expected them to take awhile all the way to me here in New Zealand. The bug and 2 folders came yesterday and the 2 backordered folders came today, so I'm also in Bug Heaven! I only ordered the day the 40% off coupon expired but was concerned about the shipping cost (air mail) and wanted a quote on it before confirming my order, which Janna kindly sorted out for me and allowed me the discount. It was still quite a saving on what I would have paid for the bug + folders here. I was happy with her service and will order again. Glad to hear her DH is OK after his health scare.

I ordered last week...
Received partial order on Saturday.
I emailed her to ask re: the other things I ordered and she replied within 24 hrs that everything else was on it's way (backorder issues).
I received another package yesterday (Tuesday) and am only waiting for one more folder-- which everyone must have wanted!
I really like personal service VS automated customer service system... even more impressed now hearing that her hubby has been ill.
I'll definitely order again - I hope Cuttlebug develops some new Embossing folders soon 'cuz I bought all the ones I like already!!!
