Default Tell me why I should buy the bunny punch!

The bunny punch from the Martha Stewart line, that is. I keep thinking I should get it but just cannot imagine what I would do with it. Any ideas?

Well I guess great minds do really think alike... I have the same thoughts! Maybe someone here will tell us if we do need it or not.

Love the punch! Here's a link:

http://www.marthastewartcrafts.com/d...d_tool_punches

I can imagine punching the bottom corner of a card and putting paper behind it, or 3 squares punched with paper behind and matted several times.

Have several Martha punches and they work great for me.

Great thread...got me thinking Easter is just weeks away!!!

Default Upside down?

Before you purchase this punch, notice that the handle of the punch is by the bunnies ears, which means if you want to punch bunnies at the bottom edge of a card, he/she will be upside down. I've notice this with some of Martha's othe punches. It is cute though!

Default punch

I noticed that about the bunny after I returned home from purchasing it....Guess you could punch then on a narrow strip of paper and then flip it over so they would be right side up......Of course use the cutouts too.
Note: of my 5 MS punches....the bunny is the only one that has hung up----I have been punching waxed paper with it to see if that helps.

Hi all, I have a question now about the MS punches. I followed the link to her web site and the punch info says it will punch felt. Is this true??? Anybody willing to test that? Id love to be able to punch through felt with a clean cut.

Thanks,
Holly

Okay Holly, I went down to my craft room for this experiment. I have the MS
1 inch scalloped square. I put a piece of cheaper stiff felt in the punch, I had to coax it, but it went in, and it punched just fine. I put a piece of better felt that had been washed and shrunken a bit in the punch, again I had to coax it. It did punch, but didn't come out as clean as the stiffer felt. HTH

Ack! I am not good at 'engineering' stuff like this! I would have bought it, tried it and then had to read the directions...hee hee...to find out the bunny would be upside down on the bottom edge/corner of the card.

tfs!
