I won (YIPPEE..love winning stuff) a package of 12 x 12 Summer Sun card stock.
I love the fact that I won but got looking and thought, boy..that's one bright colour and not one that I have really seen used much. Any body have any idea how to make good use of this? I have some vellum that matches it so I will make a few cards but wonder how else some of you talented people have used this cheerful colour.

Thanks in advance!
I'm not a "yellow" person at all, I don't think I'd ever use yoyo yellow, but I love summer sun! It is a nice warm yellow that goes nice with "fall" colors like chocolate chip. Do you have an oval punch? I'm seeing distressed "sunflowers" with chocolate chip centers. Or a pretty yellow dress card with a vellum overlay. Yay for your win!
I love Summer Sun -- it's great with Artichoke, Moss, Garden, Celery and Hunter green. Also try it with Navy, Teal, and others in the blue groups -- it goes great with Ruby Red, Bravo Burgundy and Really Rust, too. It's a good accent with grays, Kraft, and can look amazing with Sahara Sand, depending on what other color(s) you use with it. It also works with a lot of the pinks -- have fun playing around with different combinations, I think you'll be surprised at how useful it can be!
I knew all you great and talented people would make me just love this new little treasure! I am feeling much better about possible uses. Thanks everyone. I will try to post when I make something with this paper!
