Default SU Spring Flower Bouquet punch

Who has this and do you like it or not? I'm on the fence on this one, and also the 5-petal flower....

I will be no help at all, I think! I have them both and I love them both! I do use the boquet punch more ( i have also had it longer) and I like to use the flowers as I would Primas... But I still buy them too...I love the five petal one because it makes cards fill up faster and it is not as time consuming...but they are both really nice...

is this the one that is in the kit for over $40? If so, I just can't see it unless you really LOVE the stamps that go with it.

Is this the one SU has a special with? If you buy it in Auguest you get a set of Love Notes free.

I don't have it, and am on the fence.

This is not the one in the August special, it came out in the Spring Mini in '06. It was associated with the stamp set Looks Like Spring (see page 100 of F/W '07). The punch is also on the bottom of this page.

I have them both and love them. :-) But I'm a sucker for flowers. I like to use the small 50-petal flower from Spring Bouquet in the center of the big 5-petal flower. They match, and I love the look!

Love it! (the spring one that is) I use it on all my "little" scraps so I always have plenty of flowers in all different colors. Now to find a card that uses ALL those little flowers!

Five petal one is on my wish list for next month.

I just got the 5-petal flower and LOVE IT, you can layer them up, add smaller flowers to the center with brads .... it's pretty cool! Looks like I'll have to get the bouquet now too .... hmmm!

I've got the Looks Like Spring punch and love it, use it, couldn't live without it, even though I don't really use the Looks Like Spring stamps very much. I just ordered the 5-petal flower punch and expect to love it, too. Layering punches gives so much dimension to a card, and it's so, so easy! The more the merrier, I say!

OK, I apparently was in a hurry this am. :-) That should be the small *5*-petal flower from the bouquet punch. LOL

Default punches

I have the spring bouquet punch and really like it a lot! I just made a birthday present for my niece - a mini book that has her initial on the front (large) covered with crystal laquer and I used the punch to make multi layered flowers out of white CS. Then I used a small round punch to make a yellow center, then mounded tiny clear beads in the centers and securing them with more crystal laquer. They are 3-D and so adorable! You can fluff up the petals a bit to give them even more dimension.

I was going to order the five petal flower punch, but have decided to get the six petal punch from Frugalities. They are the same size except that the Frugalities punch has, of course the extra petal and the petals are cut toward the center slightly more and the price is only around $8 today. I don't have and don't plan to buy the coordinating sets from SU ( I have a bunch ( no pun intended!) of flower sets already nad have to draw the line somewhere! Wait! Can I redraw my line? I wasn't thinking!!

I had the spring bouquet punch and didn't use it so I traded it along with Looks Like Spring (hi, Joan!). The five petal punch is cute and I can see myself getting more use out of that one.

Well, actually I was assuming you meant the one of the three that has 14 petals, but didn't want to take the time to count them, so you just exaggerated the number so we'd all know it was the one with the most petals.

OK - it's getting late, did that make any sense to anyone but me?

Anyway - thanks for all the opinions. I really think I'll be getting both of them really soon. My monthly order goes in on Wednesday.

LOL When I saw it in someone's reply, I realized that is what it seemed to mean! I was totally hyper this morning--hurrying thru so many things! :-)

I love it and my girlfriend & I make sure we don't both buy the same punches but I can tell you we BOTH had to have that one. She's using to make those Christmas wreaths on her Christmas cards.
I would NOT be without it. Do I use it EVERY day. Hardly. But I do use it often & even took scraps & punched up some flowers & put in a divided plastic case so I'd have them ready. I can't imagine NOT using it. JMO
