Does anyone know what sizes work for the new Stampin' Up corner/border combo punches?? Martha Stewart border/corner combos come with instructions and paper sizes to use. I can't believe there are no instructions as to the sizes that work. I have gone through 2 sheets of paper trying to come up with something that works to no avail.
I saw the same blog and I wrote the measurements down. Sorry I don't know who it was, but she gets all the credit. Here are the sizes of paper to start with and the number of scallops you end up with on each side...
Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. I had the same question. I just got my punches this evening, so haven't played with them much, but looking forward to giving it a whirl after reading Gretchen's blog link. Thanks for the answers scrappy and K.
I couldn't get into this thread either. I am a fan club member, is there some other club that is offered? This has happened on other posts I have tried to view, too.

There are some areas that only Stampin Up demonstators can view. I really wish I could see them, oh, how I wish I could see them! But I can't afford to become a demonstrator just to get access, so I remain confined on the "regular folks" side. :(
Thanks for all of your help with this; even after watching the video I still haven't been able to get a "clean" punch all the way around. I have found that I have to work from the back of the border punch only and ignore the pattern on the front. The corner punch "stop" is deceptive; I "feel" the stop then punch and it chops off part of the design, so now I work from the back on that one too. Well 6 pieces of cardstock later and I have one semi-successful square. This could get expensive!
After reading Gretchen Barron's instructions I got the scallop punches to work but for the life of me I cannot get the pinking heart ones to punch a clean border all the way around. I have wasted too much time and paper on this. I do think that SU should have put out some directions. If there is anything that can help us out on the demo site will someone please share it to us non-demos.
Diane & Trina & anyone else lamenting because that one link is to a demo only thread....don't fret!!!! They have not given any links to anything other than what is given here! They have given links to Gretchen's blog, Sandi's blog and the "Big Shot Hero's" blog (sorry...I'm too lazy to scroll up and be sure of that lady's name). I'll sub to both this thread and that one and I'll share anything "new" there with you all here.

Well...I don't know so much about being a "sweetheart" but I like to share!!! And, just FYI....my name is Susan Timmerman. "rescuemom" was the user name I picked because I volunteer with a dog rescue group. I have ten dogs that I am guardian to and, right now, I have five foster dogs that I am the guardian for.

You are amazing! We have one dog who is a rescue (5 years old) and he is plenty. He keeps me on my toes and we take lots of classes.
I am trying to use embossing posder for the first time. (I usually hand emboss.)
Directions on the emboss it ink pad:
1. Touch rubber to pad and stamp as usual. ok
2. Sprinkle with our embossing powders. (I have a different brand of opaque
white embossing powder. No info.)
3. Cure with heat craft tool. ok
4. Re-ink with our tinted embossing inks. I DON'T GET THIS PART!!!
Will anyone please explain it to me, please? If I'm not here, would you please send it to me. I have such a had time finding the thread I was under a day ago.

Linda Heller is the Big Shot Hero girl! Here's a link to the video she and her DH put together when the punches first came out. SU is supposed to be making a video for them as well, but not sure when that is...so for now, here's her blog:
FINALLY....here is something new from the demo only side! I've not seen this before so maybe you all have not either. This is mostly about the pinking hearts corner and border punch! http://www.mukibug.com/corner-border...-tutorial.html
Subscribing as I cannot get this right & wasted 2 cardstocks. But I think these blog instructions will help and try again. Thanks for taking the time to come up with dimensions & sharing them with us. I wish SU would have these instructions come with the punch.
I haven't tried this yet but the sizes of paper that works (which is said on the video I seen) is the following :
3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches
3 1/4 x 5 inches
3 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches

the key from the little playing i've done with my set of loopy punches is the corner....i don't find the guide to align the paper works very well so i use it from the underside so i can see exactly where the paper's corner is.......3.7/8" square is the only one so far from those lists that cooperated.....the small ones are hard to get the corners done first.
What I found out from SU is that the "stop" in the corner punch is short on purpose. That way you can slide your paper in and make the corner wherever you want it. Once you punch that corner, you know where to cut the cardstock to finish the other side. That way you don't "have" to use a specific size of paper.
I always use the corner punch upside down to make sure the corner is in the right place, but the guide on the front of the border punch works perfectly.
All this information is so wonderful. Thank you ladies for your help. I have been having a heck of a time trying to work these blinkity-blank punches!! I am going to watch these videos over and over until I get it correct.
