Default SU envie template ideas - expanded topic

(ORIGINAL QUESTION) ... Can anyone explain how to use the envelope templates from SU? I don't have any but I'm thinking of getting one, not sure which one. there is the mini, which looks as though it's pretty simple. The 5 different envies are seperate, although the description says it makes 5 envie but only two sizes, it looks like it makes all different sizes. Is that correct?
Then the other is the 5-in-1, that is suppose to make 5 envie of 2 sizes, but it looks like it is a template for only 2 envies. Is that correct. I can't find a picture that I can zoom and actually read what the templates say.
Can anyone help? I'm pretty much looking for a template for 3x3 cards and larger.

Now that I know how to read and use the template, does anyone else have ideas for the SU 5-in-1 envie template? Cards, boxes, etc?? I'm trying to get the most out of this template and create some fun stuff.
Thanks!!!!

Hi Carla, I have the 5-in-1 template, I can scan the sheet that comes with it and then email it to you if you'd like? PM me your email addy if you would like!

Wanted to add that the template gives the sizes of the cards and envelopes:

Mini card 2.25" x 1.25" and Mini Envelope 2.5" x 1.5"

Card 6" x 3.75" and Envelope 6.5" x 4"

Hi Carla - the Five-In-One is awesome! I've attached a link to my class projects, and the photo description has a link to all the instructions:

I have all the old envelope templates and the 5 in 1 and I love them. I make ALL my own envelopes and then stamp or line them to match my cards. They are so easy to use - trace and cut out. There are score slots so you can use a scoring tool to score your fold lines first, but I never use them. I just get a finished card and line up the edge with the edge of the envelope and crease, then move it to the next edge and crease. Works for me! And there is a line to show you how big to cut a liner, and that makes for a really pretty, finished look.

If you buy the huge "stack packs" of paper at Michaels or Hobby Lobby like I do, there are probably lots of the patterns that you won't like for card fronts.

The patterns make great envelopes. Just put the pattern inside and the white part outside. I figure any kind of fancy envelope is better than a plain one. Some of the papers are pretty dorky, but make good envelopes, lol.

You are so right! There are always combos I don't like so that is a great way to use them up. Thanks!
